Spiritual sensitivity is the ability to perceive the intangible—the spiritual atmosphere, the presence of God, and the moving of the Holy Spirit. It is the reward of a life lived in constant communion with God. This sensitivity allows you to feel the joy of the Spirit, but also to discern the presence of evil or danger. It is a gift you must cultivate through prayer and fasting.

When you are spiritually sensitive, you sense things about people and situations that others miss. This is vital for divine recognition. It is the difference between walking in the Spirit and walking in the flesh. The flesh will lead you to seek your own comfort, while the Spirit will lead you to your destiny.

Today, ask God to sharpen your spiritual senses. Pray for a discerning heart.
