CREATIVELY NIGERIAN CAMPAIGN
Itis true that so many campaigns have atone time or the other been initiated in Nigeria, such as Proudly Nigerian, Hart of Africa, Fix Nigeria and such likes, but non has really lived up to its expectations. The reasons for this cannot be far fetched. All these other campaigns are hinged on reformation. But what is reforamtion? I must warm at this point, that what you are about to discover is hazardous to your ignorance. It is high tension truth capable of damaging your ignorance. Back to the issue of reformation. To reform in its true sense is to return to form or a former perfect state. It is creating a new thing from what already existed. it is building upon an established platform. But is we look at the Nigerian scenerio, we would discover that the past was nothing to write home about. The foundation of our nation is nothing next to perfect. Therefore there is nothing to reform or restore as it where. Taking a queue from scriptures to drive home a vital point, Genesis 2:7 says that God formed man from the dust. He formed man, that is he made man from something tangible, touchable or feelable. the making of the body of man was a formation, but we notice something extraordinary that happened earlier before this scripture in genesis 1:26, we discover that God actually said, "let us create man in our own image and after our own likeness and let him have dominion over all living things upon the earth" Verse 27 says, "and God created man, male and female created He them." God actually created and also formed man. What does it mean to create? Unlike to form, to create is to make something visible out of the invisible. It is to build as it where on an unseen platform. God is invisible and therefore cannot be seen with physical eyes, yet He says, He created man in His own image. If He is invisible and cannot be seen with physical eyes, then the man He created cannot also be seen with physical eyes. The bible also records that God is a Spirit. That also suggests that the created man is a Spirit. It was the created man that was infused into the formed man. What are am I saying in essence, to truly reform a system, there must be a creative approach. Creativity is the only answer to all the deformation Africa has suffered. Our campaigns must center on presenting creative solutions.
How then can we employ creative forces?
To employ creative forces, there is need to know what is to be creative. In this generation, people have completely misinterpreted creativity to mean culture, dance, drama, arts or any form of entertaining or scientific display of mastery or excellence. But the truth is that, creativity goes far beyond that. Creativity can only be connected through the WORD. The word of God is the only source of true creativity. Whenever God's word goes forth concerning any issue, whatever it brings forth is creative. Word generated values and systems are the creative platforms that can reconstruct the Nigerian Nation. This is building socio economic, political, industrial and technological platforms based on God's word. God's word spoken is what brings to pass the creative. Genesis chapter one reveals this fact. Everything God created was at the instance of His word. Whatever He said, He saw. Reformation speaks on what is happening as against what the word can make happen. Creativity speaks of what the word says is possible as againtst what is happening. Reformation draws its strenght from situational reality, while creativity draws her strenght from faith realities. Reformation celebrates critics, civil right leaders and activists, while creativity celebrates prophets and advocates of hope. Today, corruption has eaten deep into the fabriques of the Nigerian Nation and only a creative approach can stem the tide. Nigeria at this point needs men and women that would speak God's word at every sphere of our nations polity. Nigeria needs right speaking people.Job6:25 says that "how forcible are right words." Right words have creative power to enforce desired changes in any nation. This is not the sole duty of government alone but a collective effort of all Nigerians. CREATIVELY NIGERIAN is a campagn therefore designed to encourage Nigerians to speak positively about the Nigerian Nation no matter the situation or circumstances. CREATIVELY NIGERIAN - Promoting Patriotism, Marketing the Nigerian Dream and Developing great Nigerian minds for global success. This can only happen when we all use our mouths right to enforce the changes we desire. This believing that the media would join in this crusade in ensuring that our nation take up a new look by 2020. The people where building, but the prophets where there helping them.
