Creative Kids Tuition (CKT) - Giving hope, faith and love to less priviledged kids.

WHO WE ARE:

"Creative Kids Tuition” (CKT) is a child laughter initiative of the Center for Creative Youth International (CCYI). It is a volunteer-based Creatively Nigerian charitable organization, helping the less-fortunate children and families in Nigeria, running privately and independently, without any involvement of help from government of Nigeria, our work is 100% volunteer-based and faith driven.

HOW WE OPERATE:

We believe that what we do today without conditions or constraints for the less privilege in the area of education will serve as a vital course in the coming years. We rely heavily on the support and cooperation of individuals, corporate bodies, ministries and institutions that believe in the preservation of the next generation.

We work and contact people who do not see their biological kids as the only ones that deserve a right to qualitative education.

As part of the involvement of creative minds, they create a list of families which are in need of financial support. After careful consideration and then prioritizing, they forward the list to us. Priority is based on urgency and severity of the cases, with the fear of God as a cutting edge advantage for beneficiaries.

As part of our activities, our members in Nigeria keep contact with these families and visit them on occasional basis. Soul investors can request a visit as part of their stay in Nigeria, if they so desire. That can be arranged by contacting our social workers in Nigeria.

OUR MISSION:
This non-for-profit organization has given hope, strength and joy to the less fortunate children of Nigeria. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for the lonely, the underprivileged, and those caught in the web of poverty and despair.

Thanks to the generous investment of individuals, we are able to continue our important work in:

* Living expenses – Residence, Food, Clothing
* Education – Tuition, Books, school uniforms, shoes, examination etc

SERVICES:

Child Sponsorship:

You can sponsor a child with minimum of N1500 ($10). This will provide the student with Books, uniforms, shoes, exam fees etc. You can choose your sponsored child base on our profile criteria (age, sex, family situation).

Later, you will receive a picture of your sponsored child with all other information. At the end of school year, you will receive a copy of his/her performance during the school year, as well as any other changes in family/financial situation.

When you travel to Nigeria, a visit to meet with the child and his/her family can also be arranged.

University Scholarships:
Higher mental fund is another way of sponsorship with our organization. With about N75000 ($500) you can cover tuition/books cost/per semester for university students.

This will give them the chance to continue their education and reach their goals. Students who receive this type of financial assistance will be asked to eventually pay back the money they received, after they graduated and employed. This is their way of thanking you, as well as making it possible for other less fortunate and low income families to reach their goals too. Again, at the end of each semester, you will have the right to educational performance.

Special Cases:

In addition to all the above, your financial aid can be sent to low and no income family for other purposes such as down payment on rental accommodation, purchasing appliances, etc.

One thing is sure, whatever you do for someone who might not have the means today to pay you back is a blessing waiting for you or your kids in the future.
