THE SOUL OF REVIVAL by Kay Daniels

God's word entered into my spirit as it relates to God's idea of a revival and I came to discover that the heart cry of God from before the beginning was a revival.

The account of creation points to a revival as the centre or heart beat of God. God craves a revival.

But what really is a revival? Jesus while teaching on how to pray, properly situates this heart beat of God.

Matthew 6:10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

The "soul" of God is hinged on revival that centres on building kingdom wired leaders.

Kingdom leaders are people who tap into the "soul" of God for the purpose of replicating whatever is available in heaven on the earth.

What heaven is to earth is what the "church" is to the world. A revival is making heaven visible on the earth or making the effect of the church visible in the world.

Whatever is available in the church, the effect must be seen in the world. It is not just bringing people to church, but making the effect of the church visible in the world.

The church that would effect true revival would serve as a catalyst in the world. The word of God is the tool for executing this revival.

The word of God must turn people into leaders, men and women, boys and girls, servants, maidens etc who posses capacity to take initiatives that establish righteousness, holiness, purity and power in the world.

This would make the world see the church as the trigger for the transformation the world craves.

Isaiah 2:2-3  And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

The effect of the ongoing revival would be made visible through you in your community as you engage the word in making yourself a worthy leader.

  1. Yes sir. The revival definitely starts with individuals. Thanks for the insight.
