Giving is capital proof of the quality of your love for God, people or a course. You cannot truly be in love and not give your time, expertise and resources to it. Every genuine lover is a premium giver. For God so loved, He Gave. The proof of his love was seen in His giving. If you love God genuinely, you would love what he loves..and from scriptures we discover that God so loved the World that he gave is only begotten son. Abraham so loved God that he was willing to give his only begotten son - Isaac, David so loved God that he was willing to lay down his youthful life for the course of the nation when he confronted Goliath. Solomon loved God and he offered a thousand burnt offerings to the lord. Jesus so loved God that he willingly offered himself a sacrifice for the sins of the entire world. What his gave, has put the entire world at his foot stool.
You cannot truly love and not be a willing giver. And giving, just like praying and fasting is not a question of "if", but a subject of "When".
But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, Matthew 6:3
