🪑 Word: A New Name
📖 “You shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord will name.” – Isaiah 62:2
When God gives you a new name, He is not just changing your title, He is redefining your identity, destiny, and future. In Scripture, a name often represented nature, purpose, and assignment:
Abram became Abraham – from “exalted father” to “father of many nations” (Genesis 17:5).
Sarai became Sarah – from “my princess” to “mother of nations” (Genesis 17:15–16).
Jacob became Israel – from “supplanter” to “one who prevails with God” (Genesis 32:28).
Simon became Peter – from “reed” to “rock” (John 1:42).
Each change of name signified a divine shift—an alignment with God’s higher purpose. God’s naming is not based on your past failures, but on His eternal plan for your life. He calls you what you are becoming, not what you used to be.
Today, God is declaring a new name over you:
From forsaken to delighted in (Isaiah 62:4).
From sinner to righteous.
From defeated to victorious.
From forgotten to beloved.
When you embrace your new name in Christ, you walk in a new identity, authority, and destiny. Heaven recognizes it, and hell fears it.
🙏 Intercession: Father, rename my destiny according to Your purpose.
🧠 Interaction: Declare aloud the names God calls you (beloved, righteous, victorious).
🔥 Impartation: My new name is victory in Christ.
📢 Prophetic Declaration: I prophesy that every negative label men or circumstances have placed upon you is erased today. You shall no longer be called barren, broken, or defeated. Instead, you shall be called fruitful, restored, and victorious. A new name, written by the mouth of the Lord, is your portion from this day forward!
