DAY 21: THE SPIRIT OF PEACE

DAY 21: THE SPIRIT OF PEACE

Scripture Reading

Old Testament: Numbers 6:24-26 (KJV)

"The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."

New Testament: John 14:26-27 (KJV)

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Wordspiration Bible Study

Peace is a precious gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised to leave us His peace—not as the world gives, but a supernatural peace that transcends circumstances.

The world offers peace as the absence of conflict or trouble, but Jesus' peace is the presence of God in the midst of trouble. It is peace that remains when everything around us is falling apart. It is peace that calms our hearts and minds, no matter what we face.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of peace. He brings peace to our hearts, peace to our relationships, and peace to our circumstances. He teaches us to trust God, to rest in His sovereignty, and to be still.

The Aaronic blessing speaks of the Lord making His face shine upon us and giving us peace. This is the peace of His presence, the assurance that He is with us and for us. It is the deepest kind of peace—the peace of knowing we are loved and accepted by God.

As distinguished and impactful lights, we carry peace into a troubled world. Our peace is a witness. When we remain calm in a crisis, when we trust in the midst of uncertainty, when we forgive instead of retaliating, we demonstrate the power of God's peace.

Prophetic Declaration

The Holy Spirit is my Comforter and my peace. I have the peace of Christ—not as the world gives, but as only He can give. My heart is not troubled or afraid. I carry peace into every situation. My peace is a witness to a troubled world!

Father, I receive Your peace. Holy Spirit, calm my troubled heart. Help me to trust You in every situation. Let not my heart be troubled or afraid. I speak peace over my life, my family, and my circumstances. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prophetic Word for the Day

"The Lord says: I am giving you My peace. You do not need to be anxious about anything. Let My peace guard your heart and mind. When the storms come, you will not be shaken. Your peace will be a testimony to those around you."
