COVENANT UNIVERSITY AT 24: THE MAKING OF A NEW WORLD
For me, Covenant University is more than just a university or a citadel of learning. It is a breeding ground for a new world order—a Third World that is steadily emerging to become the top world, destined to rewrite the battered image of this great continent of Africa.
Covenant University represents a bold declaration that Africa’s story can be rewritten, its dignity restored, and its place in global leadership redefined through knowledge, character, innovation, and purposeful leadership.
Its core values are gradually, yet surely, transforming young minds—one student, one soul, one life at a time. Beyond academic excellence, the institution is committed to shaping character, building competence, inspiring vision, and raising a generation of leaders equipped to confront the challenges of their time and influence the destiny of nations.
And then, there is the significance of the number 24.
Numerically, 24 reduces to 6 (2 + 4 = 6). In the biblical creation narrative, the sixth day was the day God made humankind. What a profound symbolism to consider as Covenant University celebrates 24 years of existence!
Indeed, this is a place of the making of man—a place where minds are moulded, character is forged, destinies are shaped, and leaders are prepared for the transformation of society.
As Covenant University celebrates 24 years of solid commitment to providing life-applicable learning and transforming the total person, may its influence continue to transcend the boundaries of the university campus, inspire the African continent, and contribute to the emergence of a new generation capable of rewriting Africa’s story.
Happy 24th Founders’ Day, Covenant University!
May the vision grow stronger, the impact become greater, and the generations transformed become living testimonies of the power of purposeful education.
With goodwill and heartfelt congratulations from the Center for Creative Youth International (CCYI) and CCYI Global Enterprise — AGIS 2026 celebrates grace, transformation, and the making of a new generation.
