I walk in authority. I reign above limitations. I function from the throne!

What I know of God’s Word today is simply a function of grace. By myself, I am not qualified to gain access to the mysteries of the kingdom. This grace flows because I desire, more than anything else, a Father–Son and friendship relationship with God and Jesus Christ.

I do not only see God as King, Master, or Governor, but much more as my Heavenly Father. This gives me unhindered access to His presence and, in turn, to depths in His Word. With your father, there are things you naturally gain access to—not by striving, but by relationship. That is what I enjoy by grace, not because I am more spiritually engaging than others.

And as my Friend, Jesus reveals to me treasures from His knowledge chest.

📖 “Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” — John 15:15

What the Son of God accesses by His relationship with the Father, He makes known to me through the “kingdom emotion” — the Holy Spirit.

📖 “Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come.” — John 16:13

So my admonition to you today is this: walk with Jesus and the Father through the Holy Spirit, one day at a time. Do not allow your weaknesses to frustrate your relationship with God. Even with our earthly fathers, we sometimes walk in error, yet it does not cancel the reality that we are still their sons.

👉🏽 You are qualified by grace — not by your good works, but by your sonship.

Grace is God’s system of lifting those that the world has written off. Many times, God deliberately bypasses human standards to reveal His strength in those who are weak. Your past, background, or inadequacies are not barriers—they are platforms for God’s glory. Grace doesn’t just pardon; it empowers. Where you feel unworthy, grace makes you worthy. Where men say “impossible,” grace says “already done.”

📌 Bible Examples of the Unqualified Chosen by Grace:

• David — Overlooked by his family, yet chosen to be king (1 Samuel 16:11–13).

• Gideon — Called “the least” in his family, yet raised as a mighty man of valor (Judges 6:15).

• Peter — An uneducated fisherman who became a foundation apostle (Acts 4:13).

• Paul — A former persecutor of the church, transformed into a leading apostle of grace (1 Timothy 1:12–14).

MINORS OR MIRRORS OF SOCIETAL DECADENCE

A Growing Moral Challenge Among Secondary School Girls

A disturbing incident recently occurred in a secondary school that calls for the urgent attention of parents and society at large.

A female student in SS2 committed an offense that led her teacher to discipline her. During the process, blood was unexpectedly seen dripping from her arm. She was taken to the principal’s office, where she was asked to remove her shirt.

To everyone’s shock, it was discovered that the bleeding came from an implant device lodged in her upper arm.

The implant, medically known as a contraceptive device, is designed to prevent pregnancy during sexual intercourse. Once inserted, it can remain in the body for up to three years.

Upon questioning, the student confessed that she was not the only one carrying the device. A school-wide investigation revealed that at least 40 female students were found with similar implants.

This raises critical questions:

What business does a girl under the age of 17 have with such a device?

How did these secondary school students gain access to it?

What is the role of medical practitioners in inserting such devices into minors?

The implications are alarming. If left unchecked, this trend threatens the moral upbringing of children and the future of our society. Parents cannot afford to remain silent.

The Role of Parents and Society

Parents have a divine and moral duty to nurture, monitor, and guide their children. Failure to do so not only leads to societal decay but also carries accountability before God.

Equally concerning is the role of health workers who administer such implants to underage girls. By doing so, they indirectly promote immorality and compromise the values of the younger generation.

Way Share

Parents must intensify close monitoring of their children, both at home and in school.

Open communication between parents and children on moral, religious, and social issues must be prioritized.

Community leaders, religious leaders, and schools should work together to restore discipline and moral guidance.

Where possible, girls who are of age and have responsible suitors should be encouraged to marry, as marriage helps curb immoral behavior.

What was once thought to be a challenge only among university students is now creeping into secondary schools. This calls for urgent action from parents, schools, health authorities, and society at large. 

The moral future of our children depends on the decisions we make today.

The Power of Mentorship

We need constant reminders of what Scripture says—again and again—because truth is reinforced through repetition.

Mentors are like ladders, enabling us to see farther than we could on our own. They are the shoulders we stand on to gain vision and perspective (cf. Hebrews 13:7).

In life, principles help us walk and run, but instructions help us fly.

We walk by common sense.

We run and drive by principles.

We fly by instructions.

Flying often means flying alone—because the heights are not crowded.

> “If I have seen farther, it is by standing on the shoulders of those who have gone before us.” – echoing the wisdom of Proverbs 11:14: “In the multitude of counsellors there is safety.”

Mentors are more than teachers—they are life coaches. But even the greatest coach cannot make a star without the commitment of the one being coached (Proverbs 13:18).

The Role of Training

Training is what makes a man elastic—able to stretch, adapt, and grow.

Training turns trash into treasure. Mentors are trainers—just as Abram trained his 318 servants (Genesis 14:14).

Only trained servants end up armed—equipped for battle.

1 Samuel 22:2–3 shows us men who started as distressed, in debt, and discontented.

By 2 Samuel 23:8, those same men became David’s mighty men.
