DOMINION KEYS FOR THE MAKING OF TRAIL BLAZERS by Kay Daniels

DOMINION KEYS FOR THE MAKING OF TRAIL BLAZERS
Decision and Company for Impact.

WHAT IS DOMINION?
·       Dominion is simply leadership.
·       It is the ability to rule, lead, manage and take control.
·       It is accepting responsibility.

WHO IS A TRAIL BLAZER?
·       This is someone engraced to initiate new things.
·       Someone bold enough to chart a new course.
·       Someone confident to go where others won’t naturally want to go.
·       Every trail blazer is naturally an impact maker.
·       To be an impact maker is to see yourself as an arrow sent by God, coming from eternity, passing through time and then back to eternity with the hope of arriving there safely.
·       An arrow is destined to a hit a mark.
·       Arrows are focused entities.
·       An arrow is destined to create impact and achieve an event.

WHAT IS IMPACT?
1.    Impact is leaving your foot print on the sands of time and eternity.
2.    Impact is creating a forceful expression.
3.    Impact is refusing to leave your generation, the way you met it.
4.    Impact is penning your signature on the pages of history.
5.    Impact is leaving a thumb print on the document of time.
6.    Impact is existing with influence and not in silence.
7.    Impact is effective, effectual, efficient and eventful living.
8.    Impactful people are:
a.    Trail Blazers
b.    Pace Setters
c.     World Changers
d.    History makers
e.    News Makers
f.      Revolutionary leaders
9.    Impact is the enforcement of change
Impactful people end up News Makers and not noise makers.

Your destination is a product of a decision
A decision you made yesterday is the reason you are where you are right now, and the decisions you are making right now would be responsible for where you find yourself tomorrow.
If you must make marks in life, you must be committed to making quality decisions.
·       Great schools don’t make great leaders
·       Great families don’t make great leaders
·       Great seminars, conferences or workshops don’t make great leaders.
·       Great churches don’t make great leaders
·       Great leaders don’t make great leaders

What then makes great leaders?
-         It is great decisions that make great leaders. If greatness is your choice, then great decision making skills is your key access.
-         Destiny is not an accident.
-         You will never arrive at a future you are not prepared for.
-         Nothing happens on its own, all things that appear on the surface of the earth are made to happen.
-         If distinction is your choice, then quality decision is the passage to its realization.

Refuse to be voiceless, faceless, nameless and a statistical material
-         The place you occupy on the earth would be decision determined.
-         It takes a choice to stand a chance in life.
-         When you are loaded, you will be needed.

With Indifference, you don’t stand a chance at making a difference.
-         Whenever you make a choice, the choice in turn makes a way for you.
-         To refuse to make a qualitative choice is to be established in an embarrassing destiny.
-         Until you go against tradition, you don’t spark up a revolution.
-         If tomorrow does not concern you today, tomorrow will become a concern.
-         If nothing concerns you today, tomorrow would be loaded with concerns.
-         Be careful of where you are going or else you would like where you would find yourself.

KEYS FOR UNLOCKING THE TRAIL BLAZING GRACE INHERENT IN YOU
1.  Have appropriate value for knowledge acquisition.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” Nelson Mandela.

Learning is not the product of teaching. Learning is the product of the activity of learners. –John Holt

·       What you learnt yesterday and stored in your mind, might not be useful today.
·       What makes for relevance is your commitment to continuous learning.
·       Yesterday’s knowledge cannot handle today’s realities.
·       Learn something new every day.
·       The days of memory cards, flash drives and eternal hard drives are fast going into extinction; cloud storage is fast taking over.
·       We are no longer storing knowledge; we are creating knowledge.
·       We cannot as Africans continue to be known for knowledge consumption, we need to wake up and start creating knowledge.
·       We shouldn’t be comfortable with the importation of knowledge, we need to arise, create and export knowledge that is home grown.
·       Yes, we are black and referred to a third world country, but that is not the reason why we are in lack.

·       My most revered mentor and father in lord, Dr David Oyedepo said, “We are not in lack because we are black, we are in lack because we are blind.”

·       With appropriate value for knowledge, we can go beyond consumer mentality and be established with a production, manufacturing and innovative mentality.

2.  Cultivate godly and positive Attitudes.

-         Attitude is key to success.
-         Possess the attitude of a winner.
-         See yourself at the top of the pack.
-         Always carry around a picture of a successful you.
-         Cultivate the habit of saying thank you.
-         When you realize that you are in the wrong, learn to say I am sorry.
-         See yourself as a solution to the problems around you.
-         Show respect for elders.
-         Greeting people is not a show of weakness, rather it is strength to break the ice that plugs you to destiny.
-         When God answers your prayers, He immediately makes your path to cross with people who carry your package.
-         Grow your network with good character and treat people nicely.
-         Do not underrate anybody.
-         Refuse every appearance of pride and arrogance.
-         The key to developing good and godly attitude is the fear of God.

3.  Associate with wise
-         Company affects destiny.
-         The environment you create for yourself affects achievement.
-         Association influences illumination, transformation and socialization.
-         Association is for assimilation, affectation and acceleration.
-         A thousand good friends are not enough, but one bad friend is more than enough.
-         Associate with people who are going somewhere to happen.
-         Anyone talking you out of the love of God is nothing but your enemy.
-         Camp around people who bring out the best in you.
-         Your best friends are those who draw out the best in you.
-         Those who sin with you today, would certainly sin against you tomorrow.

4.  Be committed to self-development.
-         Pick up appropriate skill sets.
-         Get ICT or computer skills
-         Attend a vocational training Centers
-         Be committed to attending seminars and conferences.
-         Be committed to reading books that inspire you to take action.
-         Use your gift to serve God and humanity
-         Think Big and Dare big things.
-         Sharpen your understanding with books.
-         Start building a library for yourself.
-         The truth is, books shape your looks.

Six Essential 21st century skills.

1.         Critical Thinking
One of the most important 21st century skills to teach our learners is how to think critically. With so much information available online, it’s crucial that young people analyze, question and challenge what they are being told.

They should remain open-minded, evaluate situations and think outside the box when approaching tasks.

2. Communication/Public Speaking Skills
Communication is the skill many students find challenging to acquire, especially in a second language, so it’s essential you give them plenty of practice.

Good communicators will not only speak English more clearly and confidently, they’ll also excel outside of the class when it comes to studying, working or traveling.

Learners need to be able to express their opinions on a range of subjects, make themselves understood to others and work well in groups.

3. Collaboration/Networking
This skill links nicely with communication, as good collaborators work effectively with others to achieve a common goal. Learning how to take turns, respecting other people’s opinions and being a good team player is vital for success in life.

Networking skills will also help students when they leave school and find jobs, as many of them will have to work with people from different backgrounds or cultures.

4. Creativity
Similar to critical thinking, students should be encouraged to think of new and innovative ways to solve problems. As well helping them in their other subjects at school, it will also benefit them when entering higher education or the workplace.

5. Cultural Awareness
More than ever, we are living and working in multicultural environments. Learners need to be able to understand differences between themselves and people from other countries who have different cultures or traditions.

Developing respect and understanding for others will help students find common ground with anyone they meet, whether it’s at school or later when they are studying, working or traveling.

6. Digital Literacy
Although it’s getting to the point where our teenage learners have a better understanding of the digital world than we do, it’s important to use technology in our classes so that our students are engaged and motivated to learn.

We need to remember that many of the younger generations do not know a life without Google, social media or smartphones. It’s therefore important that the way we teach reflects this.

It’s also crucial that we encourage learners to use technology safely, educate them on the potential dangers they face online and teach them about what information or websites they can trust.

In Conclusion
·       Be a voracious seeker of knowledge and wisdom as you step into a new phase.
·       What you don’t know and don’t want to learn, you cannot come to understand it.
·       Wisdom is the application of what you know.
·       If you cannot study, you cannot become a master.
·       What you can’t master, cannot empower you.
·       The key to blazing the trail in life is knowledge.
I close with this ancient truth in Genesis 1:1-3
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
The earth was Formless, Empty and Darkness was over the surface of the deep…
Out of the three challenge, God confronted the third challenge first…. He said, “let there be light – knowledge”. When there is knowledge, there would be resources and with resources, you can give form to any given situation.
To blaze the trail, go for light – Knowledge.

Thank you.

THE LAW OF SACRIFICE

CCYI GLOBAL BLOG WORDSPIRATIONS

THE LAW OF SACRIFICE

Sacrifice is going the extra mile.

It is the extra efforts that makes for extraordinary.

Sacrifice is painful investment.

Sacrifice is simply going beyond your best.

2 Timothy 4:6-8

John 10:17-18

To make global impact, you need global sacrifice.

Nothing changes, until somebody changes it.

1 Corinthians 2:9

When you choose God, God chooses you.

Make God first, and he makes you first choice.

Romans 8:28-29

THE VALUE OF INTEGRITY

CCYI GLOBAL BLOG WORDSPIRATIONS

Great talents would always flourish with great integrity. Integrity is undoubtedly at the root of prosperity. Proverbs 11:3

Integrity or what religious people call holiness is the key to connecting with our true nature. Integrity is wholeness at the three levels of man's makeup.

It is wholeness or completeness in spirit realm, soul realm and body realm. This I believe is what holiness is all about. It is prospering spirit, soul and body.

Adam and Eve were created whole but there was a satanic interference. Before the fall, Adam single handedly named all of Gods creation.

The implication of this is that, he had dominion over the birds, so he could fly and meet the birds, he had dominion over the sea, so he could swim and meet with the marine creatures and he was so strong that he could travel the earth and name all the land animals.

This creature called Adam was so extraordinary. He was 100% god and 100% man. He was god of the earth. God had given it to him. He operated at the same level and frequency as God.

The problem came when Satan - the evil (devil) interfered in man's affairs. This satanic interference is known as sin. Man's disobedience to God's commandment corrupted his spirit - he now possessed fear, it also corrupted his soul - he later operated at a lower mental frequency, and it also corrupted his body - his once incorruptible body now started suffering corruption - death.

All these, a product of a lack of integrity. I believe that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was to restore to mankind the virtue of integrity. As we celebrate this ultimate sacrifice, it is wisdom to recommit ourselves to a lifestyle of integrity - holiness. Good morning....happy good Saturday ....and have a wordspired weekend and holiday.

Contentment: key to outstanding faith.

CCYI GLOBAL BLOG WORDSPIRATIONS

Contentment is key to outstanding faith. Contentment is enjoying every season of your life with an expectation of greater possibilities.

God supplies us with the grace to manage every season of our lives. Do not feel discontent about things you do not have, rather be content about the things you do have.

With every season comes different kinds of responsibilities. There are preparatory seasons of your life. What you need is to learn to bloom wherever you might be planted.

Making the best of your season is not a gift but a choice you make.

Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Your best attitude in your seasons is gratitude. Be grateful for where and what you have with the expectation of better things to come.

According to Bishop Oyedepo, "life is in phases, men are in sizes." If you are single, enjoy and make the best use of that season. You may not have abundance today, but still enjoy that season because a greater day lies ahead.

Today, blacks want to be white, whites want to appear black, most ladies want to makeup etc. All these are products of discontentment.

When you are grateful for where you are, it is just a matter of time, you will blossom. Enjoy the season you are in right now and your time would soon come.

Gratitude is key to greater altitudes. Good morning and have a wordspired day. May the infallable proofs that marks the appearance of Jesus after resurrection be yours now.
