STARDOM KEYS

There are multitudes of African youths in this generation who do not really live at all. They merely exist. They are slaves of a morbid ambition and a greed that has grown to be a monster. Many of these youths take very little comfort; they are always on a
strain to keep up appearances, to “keep up with the Jones,” and they themselves consistently are bordered about it, killing their legitimate comfort and enjoying through exhaustion of the strain and stress – and all for nothing that is real or permanent, nothing that adds to their spiritual, moral character or well-being.  Some of these youths go through life not doing the things they ought to do, what is best for their welfare and growth. Their lives are superficial because they do not live in or deal in realities. Everything about them is deceiving. They live masked lives. A few people know them as they really are. They only know them as they pretend to be. What do these people, who are always chasing shadows, get out of life anyway? There are kingdom keys that can help fix such dilemmas in the life of these youths. Here are a few of them that I have found:
1)       ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR NEED FOR GOD NOW AND ALWAYS.
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:3
You must be absolutely dependent on God for everything. Outside God, your star cannot shine for too long. The lights would soon go out. Only God dependent folks get the best of God. Whatever good thing that takes place in your life, be quick at giving the glory back to God. Glory is weighty and cannot be shouldered by “mortal gods”. You need to give it back to the “immortal” if you must gain speed in life.

2)       KNOW THAT CRISIS AND DIFFICULTIES ARE NEVER FOREVER.
Blesses are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matt5:4

No matter what you are doing through right now, it is not permitted to last more than a moment or a night. Every crisis that stays more than a moment is a curse and demands your accepting spiritual responsibility.
As long as you are on earth, everything is subjected to time, they will come to pass. Crisis is always temporary. Just wait and prepare. Embrace the Chinese philosophy that sees opportunity in crisis. Say to yourself right now “I am coming out of what I am in right now!” See God in the race with you, and no disgrace will come to you.
See beyond your crisis. The truth is that, half of the things you worry about rarely happen. The season of failure is the best time to sow for success.

3)       BRING YOURSELF LOW AND DEMAND MORE FROM YOURSELF.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth Matt 5:5.

Self-discipline is the best form of discipline in the world. Demand more from yourself. It is difficult to succeed without discipline. Until you can control yourself, you can’t control life. Meekness is the character that secures for its carrier greatness. There is no true greatness without meekness. We all have a self that needs to be put under control if our star must shine. To have total control, you need to acknowledge the fact that God is in control and that you need to bring yourself under control.  The truth is that whatever is confronting you negatively that you cannot control has become a curse or has a demonic source. You need to fight it. Exercise rule over mouth, mind, eyes, hands, temper etc.

4)       DESIRE PERSONAL GROWTH AND NEVER STOP LEARNING
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst for Righteousness; for they shall be filled Matt 5:6
You need hunger to succeed in life. Shut things off to turn your priorities on. Always steal time to get at least a glance at knowledge. Self-impose standards on yourself.  Refuse mediocrity and push yourself beyond your limits. It is easy to learn something about everything than learning everything about something. Hunt for information and be a voracious eater of God’s word. Stars are committed thinkers, learners, readers and winners.

5)       ALLOW ROOM FOR OTHERS TO FAIL AND DON’T BE QUICK TO JUDGE OTHERS.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Matt 5:7

Rebuke people, but do not judge them. The truth is that small minded people are judged by themselves while great minds are judged by mediocre. The wise judges no one. Mercy is postponed judgement.  The truth is that, you cannot show mercy if you do not have power of judgement. Learn to forgive or to release people. You can’t afford to hold people down. Hold them down and you remain on the floor. Let them go and you are sure to move forward. When you hate someone so much that you wish them evil, it is like drinking poison and wishing the person you hate dies. Be wise, it you who drank the poison that is condemned to death.

6)       PROTECT AND CULTIVATE YOUR GOD MIND
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God Matt 5:8
Develop the attitude of seeing God in everything. When it is good, give glory to God for making it happen. When it is bad, give glory to God for not allowing it to be worse. Recognize godliness in everything. Have a pure mind towards everything. Learn from every experience.

7)       DETERMINE TO BE A POSITIVE INFLUENCE.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Matt 5:9
Be committed to bringing out the good in others. Believe in the best in people. Look for the best in every situation. Develop a contributor’s mind-set and not a borrower or beggars mind-set. Let people remember you for adding to them a star and not a scar.

8)       HAVE AN ENTHUSIASTIC AND GOOD ATTITUDE TOWARDS LIFE.
Blessed are those that are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:10
Nothing in life is to feared, but understood. Don’t take life too seriously. Develop the attitude of smiling at your challenges. When things seem rough, take a walk and talk to yourself and make some prayers to God. This would do your soul a lot of good. Live loosely when it comes to considering other people’s opinions. It is not worth it destroying yourself just because of what others think of you. It’s just an opinion. It might be a fact but certainly not the truth.

9)       EXPECT THE BEST BUT BE PREPARED FOR THE WORST.
Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my name’s sake. Matt 5:11
Learn to see normality in difficult situations. Be calm and calculated in the face of opposition. Understand that for every faith declaration you make, there will always be a test. Faiths always actually qualify you for a test that brings a reward when you pass the test. Let them keep working. So do not let challenges terrify you, but rather, let it challenge you.  When they throw stones at you, pick them up and set them under your feet. The more they throw, the deeper their pit and the higher your pulpit. Mockers build the pulpit upon which kingdom stars launch out into the deep. As they throw their stones at you, they are losing ground, while you are gaining grounds.

10)   UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE IMPORTANT TO THE WORLD, HUMANITY AND TO YOUR GENERATION.
You are the salt of the earth: you are the light of the world. A city set up on a hill that cannot be hid. Matt 5: 13-15

Become conscious of your values and self-worth. As the salt of the earth, you are Elite. You give zest to life. You are so valuable to this generation. If no one values you now, value yourself. Tell yourself, “It is just a matter of time.” The worst that can happen to a man is self-denial. Adam and Eve did not sin only because they ate fruit, no. The real sin was born out of the fact that they denied their true nature. What do I mean? Before God created man, He had a purpose. The purpose for creating man was for him to have dominion or ruler ship on the earth. Man was created in the image and likeness of God, which means that man, had the same moral and spiritual capabilities like God.  Man was therefore created a “god” over the earth. You cannot have these awesome capabilities and live like a nonentity on the earth. No matter what might be happening around you today, you are very important to your generation if you possess the kingdom life. You are a pace setter, path finder, trail blazer, news maker and a world changer.
