BLESSEDNESS OF GODLINESS
1 Timothy 4:8
Godliness is profitable unto all things.
You lose nothing being godly.
You may be mocked for your godliness in the open but secretely admired.
The future of the godly is always securely.
What does it mean to be godly?
1. To be God-like in behaviour and character.
2 Peter 2:9
Man was designed to be a duplate of God
2. To be God- occupied. Be busy with God on your inside
Luke 19:13, Matthew 12:43-45
Satan is not a creator but an occupier of vacant places.
It is risky for your life to empty, even though swept, and garnished.
Deut 30:19 Make the choice for life and refuse death.
Ephesians 4:27 - Give no place for the devil.
John 8:46 - Jesus is an example of a Godfull individual.
John 14:30, James 4:7
You cannot resist the devil when you are not full of God.
Our love for God is the fulfilment of the law.
To love fellowship with sin is proof that you are not in fellowship with God.
You like sin because you do not love God.
Romans 13:10
Love accomodates all laws.

Give all place to God and there would be no space at all for the devil.

What does it take to live a holy life?
1. Continue to engage the power of the blood.
1 John 1:7
Sin is categories in three ways:
1. Sin of error
2. Sin of transgression
3. Sin of iniquity.
Hebrews 9:14
Deal with evil thoughts ruthlessly.
Zach 9:11-12, Rev 12:11
2. Continue to engage the spirit of love.
2 Timothy 1:7, 1 John 2:15
If you love sin, you don't love God.
Benefits if godlness.
1. Divine favour. Psalm 5:12
You can be slave in the body but master in mentality.
Sin targets the mind for enslavement.
Genesis 39:8-9
Don't infuse to wordly stuff, rather refuse.
2. Divine health. John 5:1-8
SiN makes people to lose their senses.
The penalty of sin is dangerous.
Sin wrecks people and rubbishes people's health...
Live godly, it would show latter.
3. It enhances mentality prowess.
Living in sin polutes your brain.
When Solomon was in his right senses he wrote proverbs - pure wisdom.
When he embraced sin, he lost his senses and wrote Ecclesiastes - disjointed wisdom.
Sincerity brings people closer to God.
