The greatest gift of God to mankind is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is primarily a teacher and a helper. He teachers us new things and brings to our remembrance things we might have forgotten. He powers our imagination and fortifies our memory.
He inspires our intellect and ensure that our emotions are grounded in the fear of God. He empowers our will to make the right choices and decisions. The holy Spirit is the Spirit of the anointing.
When you are born again, the Holy Spirit interacts with our spiritman through meditation and fasting. The Holy Spirit is the best thing that can ever happen to a redeemed child of God.
I pray that the Holy Spirit would be actively involved in all your affairs this mid week. All contrary winds shall have no effect in your life anymore from hence forth. Have a wordspired day!

A great man with a great Passion for God and his wisdom - word. A man with multidimensional gifts and revelational depths in the word of God. One of those that taught the world the significance of seed faith. A man so much in love with the Holy Spirit. A man with thousand features.... The church will raise you, no one will hear about it.
The church will train you in school, no one will applaud the church for it...
A pastor will pick you up and give you platform for a global celebration, all the social media pundits won't publish it...
But any day you suffer or die under a condition you ignorantly kept away from the knowledge of the church, the church becomes your killer...

A church of mega multitudes, with thousands of happily married couples, no one comes out to appreciate the church and the pastors whose teachings and instructions in righteousness have kept them together...
But if one among them is affected by what was not made known to the pastor, this generation will begin to crucify him and slander the church.

"The church is not helping matters" is an allegation from hell.

"Pastors are not teaching against abusive marriage" is sponsored by enemies of salvation.

Most marriages are great today because of the intervention of the church...
Most couples are having happy homes today because their pastors got involved...

Pray before making a decision for marriage, but rather than do that, you allow your emotions dictate the happenings and when the result comes out, you are quick to blame it on the church.......
Marry a child of God, you would say there is nothing wrong with the person as long as you are in love with him or her....
Bring your so called hubby to be, for prayer and counselling, you refuse because you want your relationship to be private or personal ....
Pastor advices you not to marry the person you have chosen, you then decided to leave the church so you can get married ....
Your spouse was showing signs of wickedness during relationship, yet you went ahead without counsel and got married .... But when your ignorant moves and uncultured decisions begin to create challenges people join you to castigate the church and pastors.

The church remains a place of restoration, turn around and blessings...
Most pastors continue to be a blessing to those who believe in them.

The church cannot become irrelevant because of your sentiment... The church is the light of the world and salt of the earth.
Without the church the world will continue to stumble in darkness and the earth will lose its taste.
Pastors cannot lose dignity because of your hatred... No matter how many time you insult money, trample it under foot, rough handle it ....it would still hold its value. ....that is how it is with pastors and the church. Jesus was bitten with thorn like whips but that did not stop his gospel from storming the world for more than 2000 years.
You did not call the pastor, so you are not qualified to judge him.... The one who called him will straighten his pastor.

It is therefore not wisdom to hide your challenges from your pastor. One word of prayer from him can change things in your favour.

The church is not your problem...
Pastors are not your problem...
Your problem is failure to embrace wisdom.
Go to your pastor and share your challenges with him or her. If your pastor is not qualified to counsel you, then you might be attending the wrong church. Feel free to ask God to show you where your spiritual family is located.

There are thousands of credible pastors out there with whom your secret remains between you and them. Ask God and he would reveal your pastor to you.

You will only prosper and flourish under your God ordained pastor.
Don't go on social media and wash your mouth on the anointed. "Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm". This commandment was given by the one who sends and backs up the angels (pastors) of the church.
Don't put yourself in arms way by kicking against the pricks with your ill advised moves.

Blaming the church and pastors for your ignorance would only lead you to quenching the light. And when your light is out, you stumble in darkness.

Just like waste trucks offloads all trash collected from individual locations, and dumped in a general dumping site, the same way Jesus collected all the sins of all that believes on him (then, now and in the future), nailed it to his cross and went to trash them permanently in hell.
This is why he had to pay hell a visit. He also went there to collect the key, Satan through deception collected from Adam and Eve in the beginning.
Revelation 1:18 (KJV) I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
He collected the keys of hell and of death and locked it up, never to torment the believers anymore. This is what makes Easter most potent for all generations

A father said to his daughter “You have graduated with honors, here is a car I bought many years ago.
It is a bit older now but before I give it to you, take it to the used car lot downtown and tell them you want to sell it and see how much they offer you for it.
The daughter went to the used car lot, returned to her father and said, “They offered me $1,000 because they said it looks pretty worn out.”
The father said, now “Take it to the pawn shop.” The daughter went to the pawn shop, returned to her father and said,”The pawn shop offered only $100 because it is an old car.”
The father asked his daughter to go to a car club now and show them the car. The daughter then took the car to the club, returned and told her father,” Some people in the club offered $100,000 for it because it’s a Holden Torana and it's an iconic car and sought by many collectors”
Now the father said this to his daughter,
“The right place values you the right way,” If you are not valued, do not be angry, it means you are in the wrong place. Those who know your value are those who appreciate you......Never stay in a place where no one sees your value.
Recently I saw a documentary on Mike Tyson, one of the longest standing heavyweight boxing champion of all time. With a total of 56 fights in his 20 years boxing career, Tyson won 50 times most of which was by a Knockout.
Nicknamed "Iron", Tyson had a reputation of knocking out his opponents within few minutes and sometimes within seconds into the fight with a few punches and at times, a single blow!
In an interview, he said his fight always began long before he got into the ring. And then his concluding fight happened just before the fight in the ring began. He would mostly keep an intimidating gaze on his opponent with the purpose of casting fear into his opponent's mind. If he saw a little drop in the eye of his opponent even if it was for a microsecond, he knew he already won the fight.
Tyson understood that all battles began in the mind and that the victory is actually won before the fight begins in the ring.
The physical fight people see is only to play out what has already taken place in the mind. The one who loses is usually the one who had more fear in his mind.
Fear paralyzes. Fear torments. Fear, sorts of, ties down your hands from within you and reders your 'blows' weak and ineffective.
This is exactly what happens when you face sicknesses and diseases as a believer. Seeing cancer healed isn't more difficult than seeing fever healed. But the condition of your mind when faced with the case is what determined how the battle will eventually turn out. That's where the victory is either won or lost.
Sometime ago I heard of a neighbor who was sick so I decided it was my opportunity to go minister to him. On getting to the hospital (UCTH) we were told it was a communicable disease, highly contagious and warned not to go close. Seeing the man from the window, his appearance looked scary. He was looking so weak, bony and pitiful. He looked like he was already dead.
We went back home that day.
I was unprepared.
That condition tried to intimidate me.
I knew I had to first win the battle in mind and conquer my fear for that thing, because I knew if I didn't, I might not be able to help bring healing to him. This is not done by will power. I did by prayer and fasting while letting God's word penetrate my being through meditation. When I felt I was ready, I returned, 2 days later.
This time, I went alone.
I didn't want to endanger someone else and since I wasn't sure of his faith at that point, I let him be. I went back to the hospital, went into his ward without a mask and laid hands on him without a glove (please do not try this type of thing unless you're drunk).
I wanted to let that infirmity know that I wasn't afraid of it. I wanted it to know I'm in charge here. To me, it was a battle. I was drunk with holy Spirit.
This wasn't to prove any point to anyone. I considered it a training of my faith in dealing with intimidating cases like these. I knew that no case is a big deal to God and Jesus didn't categorize sicknesses and diseases as 'hard category' and 'easy category'. He gave power to heal ALL MANNER OF SICKNESS AND DISEASE.
Matthew 10:1
[1]And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Well, the man got healed and in about 5 days was totally well and discharged. This was someone that had been given up to die. Hahaha... Jesus is wonderful!
So here's my point: when next you are faced with an intimidating circumstance, before you go, like Tyson, ensure you win the battle in your mind by dominating that disease or that demon or that circumstance by faith in the place of prayer and meditation on God's word, so that when you challenge it, you do so fearlessly and when you lay hands or speak to it, it'll be like a Tyson blow, leading to a fatal knockout to that devil!
Not only sickness, I mean, ANY CHALLENGE that tries to intimidate you.
The victory of Jesus over demons and diseases is ours!
Ojota used to be a military settlement in the late 18th century and soldiers practised their shooting there. The area had several gun firing spots and became known as “Oju Ota” in Yoruba which means “Bullet spots”. It later metamorphosed into Ojota which it is called now.
2. Abule Egba
This area is on the outskirts of Lagos and got its name from the early settlers who were Egba people from Abeokuta. The area was first called “Abule awon egba” in Yoruba, which means “Village of Egba people”. It later became “Abule Egba”.
3. Apongbon
Apongbon is one of Lagos’ most popular markets, and it’s also quite close to the popular Oke-Arin market. It got its name from the then acting governor of the Lagos colony, William McCoskry, who had a Red Beard. The Yorubas who couldn’t pronounce the colonial governor’s name decided to describe him by his red beard and started calling him *“Oyinbo to pon ni agbon”* (Apon l'agbon) meaning a red-bearded man. It later became Apongbon.
4. Magodo
Magodo is now a posh area, but in the past, it used to be sacred land. The residents had a lot of taboos and one of them was to avoid using mortars and pestles, “Ma gun odo” which means “Don’t pound it”. It later became Magodo
5. Epetedo
Epe is named after the early settlers who were Epe traders. The area became dominated by the Epes and they still trade there until today.
6. Ebute-Metta
Ebute-Metta is one of the earliest harbour docks where British ships berthed at. It was a hub for trade and commerce in colonial times. Ebute-Metta is a fusion of the words “Ebute” which means the seaside in Yoruba, and “Metta” which means three. The three shores are Iddo, Otto and Oko baba.
7. Broad street
Broad street used to be one of the longest and widest streets in the city. It got its name from its broadness. However, Broad Street was later changed to Yakubu Gowon Street but later changed back to Broad street when Gowon was accused of participating the coup that led to the death of Murtala Ramat Mohammed.
8. Agidingbi
The British Naval forces invaded Lagos in 1885 under the pretext of stopping slavery and human sacrifice. The noise their canon made was really loud, and the sound was heard round the streets of Lagos Island. The people described the sound as “A gidi n gbinnn”. Which means a loud groundbreaking noise. The name Agidingbi was borne out of this.
9. Victoria Island
Victoria Island was also a major hub for commerce and British ships berthed there often. It’s named after Queen Victoria of England who was Queen from 1837-1901.
10. Ikeja
Ikeja, the capital of Lagos, is actually an abbreviation for “Ikorodu and Epe Joint Administration”, IKEJA. It was coined by the colonial masters for ease of administration.”

WORDSPIRATION
While Paul's exhortation here is excellent, it is the style of the exhortation we should especially notice. We live in an age where we are constantly pressured to emphasize the novel, new, or improved versions of things. But in our lives as Christians, our knowledge always exceeds our obedience. So more often than we like to think, we need to remind each other of what we are doing right and just simply say, "Hey, you're doing well; just keep doing what you're doing!"
PRAYER
Faithful Father, thank you for noticing and keeping record of the things I've done that are good and pleasing to you. Please help me to keep doing those things that please you, only better, that you may be pleased and glorified. In Jesus name. Amen.

Happy Good Friday to you. Jesus died on the cross, so that by His blood the curse that was placed on the ground for man's sake could be broken. This means that man is not expected to toil or sweat anymore, even pain at child's birth is not supposed to be the lot of the redeemed child of God because of the blood. This season is simply a celebration of the redemptive virtues inherent in the blood of Jesus. By the blood of Jesus we have victory that establishes our testimonies. Rev 12:11 KJV

15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
The first thing to seek is the kingdom. Seek first the kingdom and all other things become an addition. And leadership is the original intent for which God created man and placed him on the earth. This is why, the most important subject to explore is that of Kingdom leadership, one is the first thing to seek while the order is the reason why the seeker was created in the first place. 11 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
8 For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man.
9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
20 When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.
21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? what shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
