WHAT YOU GET OUT OF WORK

"The highest reward for a man's toil is not what he gets for it, but what he becomes by it." Ruskin

What you are becoming is stronger than what you might be collecting.

God's greatest desire for man is to become.

There is what to BE, before certain things COME to you.

You either continue to collect fish or allow yourself to be made a fisher of men. Luke 5:1-7

"In order to succeed, you must know what you are doing, like what you are doing, and believe in what you are doing.

ONE THING TO DO WITH YOUR WORK....

Accept your work as a gift from God, and never see it as a punishment.

"when purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable." Myles Munroe

"When there is no purpose for waking up, sleeping becomes interesting."

Everything about God boils down to discovering Purpose and be willing to discover potential.

"To rejoice in his labour, this is the gift of God." Ecc 5:19

When you treat your work as a gift from the Lord, you become a problem solver in today's broken world - a light shinning in darkness.

Your work is a gift from God in three powerful ways:

1. A gift to you personally

- It helps you discover and use dormant qualities.
- It exposes you to other people forcing you to learn the art of communication - speaking with and listening to others.
- Worthy work forces you to think outside yourself, provides a focus for your energy, and destroys self-absorption.

2. Your work is a gift from God for others around you.

What you do contributes to something beyond your self.

When you do your part and more, those around you see your contribution and are inspired to live up to the standard that you set.

Your work creates life, movement, progress and energy.

3. Your work is a gift of God to your family.

The way you work becomes the example they will follow.

"This week will be your best ever this year. You will move to the next level of success."

Good morning and have a wordspired day!

Matt 11:28-29

The human body is designed with limits.

Certain things in peoples life can cause stress.

The only thing guaranteed is our victory over challenges. God did not promise a no challenging world.

Challenges is not proof that something is wrong with you.

1 Corinthians 15:57

You don't get the best of people until they are subjected to stress.

A little bit of stress has a way of keeping our system on alert.

Stress prolonged becomes dangerous.

When our system has no respite from stress, it creates problems.

Symptoms of stress

1. Headaches
2. ‎high blood pressure
3. ‎insomnia
4. ‎stomach upset

6. ‎etc

Learn to manage your body system.

Be sensitive to the sound of your physical body ....

How then do I manage stress?

1. Be committed to prayer.
Phil 4:6-7

Draw on Gods strength in prayer.
Be anxious for nothing.
With prayer, your heart and mind would be kept in peace.
It helps you to move from negative emotions to a positive one.

John 14:26

Jesus is the prince of peace.

Jeremiah 33:3

In many instances, prayer moves God to change you, then your circumstances.

2 kings 6:13

When a christian is distressed, it is because he is not conscious of Gods presence.

Psalm 23:1-6

Most of what makes people anxious are simply shadows.

Prayer connects you to revelation that brings peace and victory.

2. Learn to take break. Learn to rest.
Mark 6:31

When you see the signs, learn to take a break.

3. Seek help from others, and if necessary from a professional.

Ecc 4:9

Share your challenges with others.

4. Meditate on Gods word.
John 6:63

Dream in Gods word.
Words are powerful.

Proverbs 4:20-23

5. Maintain an attitude of gratitude.

Acts 16:25

No matter the situation, always give God some praise.

1 Samuel 30:1-6

MY TESTIMONIES OF GREAT AVIATION ESCAPES by BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO

CCYI GLOBAL BLOG INSPIRATIONS

MY TESTIMONIES OF GREAT AVIATION ESCAPES

ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE LANDING IN LAGOS POSING IMPOSSIBLE
Sometime in 1997 on our way back from Kaduna into Lagos, landing in Lagos became a tug of war. The Captain made several attempts, but every attempt proved abortive under heavy thunderstorms. The aircraft will go up and come down, he made another attempt, it will go up and come down again. The plane eventually landed. Again, Jesus prevailed, granted us a great escape.
Bishop David oyedepo

ONE ENGINE OF OUR AIRCRAFT FAILED IN FLIGHT
On May 4, 1998 we were on a flight to Kano in our aircraft when I noticed that the plane was slowing down so I went to the cockpit and asked the pilot what was going on, then he announced that we just lost one engine. Calmly I said make a turn back to Lagos. We were 8 on board that flight as soon as we landed and got down to our packing space we heard a sound that announced the death of the second engine. Again, He granted us a great escape.
Bishop David oyedepo

WE ESCAPED A POTENTIAL CRASH
The main malfunction we had on the Cyprus-Israel flight was a Stabilizer Trim Motor Failure.
During the said flight, after the trim motor failure, the autopilot could no longer exert the required pressure to keep the aircraft in the required attitude for stable flight. The captain disconnected the autopilot, took and returned the aircraft to the required attitude for that phase of flight. Because the aircraft was “out of trim” during this take over, the aircraft abruptly pitched up with much G-force and the captain counteracted it with a pitch down force. These two counter forces caused the “abrupt turbulent” movement in the cabin and the cargo hold. Heavy items in the cargo hold fell from their compartments and made the loud bang noise we heard.

We thank the God of this commission for making the pilots to react promptly. Similar failures in the past have resulted in fatal accidents that resulted in loss of lives due to lateness of pilots’ reaction. From the report on the flight Captain Samuel Adeboga

NOTE
Remember, Jesus said, ‘destroy this temple and on the third day I will raise it up”, talking of His death and resurrection – Jn 2:19

It written, “After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight” – Hos. 6:2

Remember, Jesus said, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” – Rev. 1:18

Therefore, this being the third great escape in the air, it is over forever and no member of this great Commission or member of our spiritual extensions shall ever be a victim of air crash, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

Jesus is Lord!
