Laser-Focused Praise as a Lifestyle by Kay Daniels

In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get distracted by the noise, challenges, and responsibilities we face daily. But as believers, we are called to live a life of intentional praise—a life where our focus is fixed on God, no matter the circumstances. This type of praise is not just an occasional act but a consistent, laser-focused lifestyle.

The Bible reminds us that a heart of focused praise is the foundation for walking in victory and divine alignment. Consider the words of the psalmist in Psalm 34:1 (NIV):

"I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

This scripture reveals the key to laser-focused praise—it’s not dependent on what we face but rooted in who God is. When our praise is unwavering, regardless of our circumstances, it becomes a spiritual weapon that aligns our hearts with God’s purposes.

Praise Amidst Challenges

In Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NIV), we see an example of how laser-focused praise transforms adversity:

"Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior."

Here, Habakkuk chooses to praise God despite the visible lack around him. His laser focus was not on the material realities but on the unchanging nature of God. This type of praise transcends feelings and focuses solely on God’s sovereignty, faithfulness, and ability to bring triumph in all situations.

The Power of Focused Praise

When we engage in focused praise, we enter into God's presence and shift our focus from the temporal to the eternal. Isaiah 26:3 (ESV) assures us,

"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You."

By keeping our mind and praise laser-focused on God, we open ourselves to His peace and guidance. In this state of continuous praise, distractions lose their power, and we can navigate life’s difficulties with grace.

A Lifestyle of Praise

Laser-focused praise as a lifestyle means waking up each day with a heart full of gratitude, irrespective of our feelings or external situations.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV) commands us to "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

This is the attitude of someone who has learned to live with their spiritual eyes fixed on God—giving thanks in all things and maintaining a posture of worship, even in trials.

How to Maintain Laser-Focused Praise:

Renew Your Mind Daily: Spend time in the Word of God. It helps redirect your thoughts and keeps you grounded in truth.

Develop a Habit of Thanksgiving: In every situation, good or bad, find something to thank God for. This trains your spirit to focus on God’s goodness, not the situation.

Praise God for Who He Is, Not Just for What He Does: Focus your worship on God's nature—His faithfulness, holiness, and love. This keeps your praise constant, even when circumstances change.

Surround Yourself with Worship: Incorporate worship music and scriptures into your daily routine, allowing them to serve as reminders of God's greatness.

In conclusion, laser-focused praise is not something we do occasionally; it's a lifestyle we cultivate. When our eyes are fixed on God, our hearts will overflow with praise that transcends circumstances, releasing divine power into every area of our lives. As you make this your lifestyle, you will experience the peace, strength, and joy that come from a heart aligned with the Almighty.

THE UMBILICAL CORD OF LIFE by Kay Daniels

Salvation is the umbilical cord that connects man with God. Just as a baby in the womb depends entirely on the umbilical cord for nourishment, protection, and life, so is it for anyone who is born again—such a person moves, lives, and has their being in God.

The umbilical cord of salvation provides everything we need spiritually, keeping us connected to the source of life, protection, and sustenance, which is God Himself.

The Bible emphasizes this connection in Acts 17:28:

"For in him we live and move and have our being."

Just as a baby cannot survive outside the womb without the umbilical cord, we cannot truly live without salvation. It is our spiritual lifeline, providing the grace, mercy, and favor we need to navigate life.

Through salvation, we are nourished by the Word of God, protected from the attacks of the enemy, and empowered to live a life of purpose. Colossians 2:6-7 speaks to this, saying:

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

Until you are saved, you cannot be safe. Outside of salvation, we are exposed to spiritual danger, vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy, and disconnected from the life-giving flow of God’s provision. Jesus Himself said in John 10:9:

"I am the door; if anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture."

True safety, security, and sustenance come from this divine connection through salvation.

Therefore, let us hold fast to this umbilical cord of salvation, for it is our only hope of life, security, and sustenance in this world and the world to come. John 3:16 reminds us of this profound truth:

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

Salvation is our lifeline to God’s eternal promises.

AUTHORITY: THE ABILITY TO USE POWER by Kay Daniels

The distinction between power and authority is profound and foundational to understanding how divine principles operate in the realm of faith and spiritual leadership.

Power can be seen as the inherent ability to make things happen, to bring about change or outcomes. It is a raw force, the capacity to enact influence over circumstances, situations, or people. In the spiritual realm, this power originates from God—He is the source of all power. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 62:11,
"God has spoken once, twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God."
This truth establishes that no power exists independently of God's sovereignty.

On the other hand, authority is the capacity or permission to use this power. Authority is not automatic but delegated. It provides the legal or rightful standing to wield power effectively. In essence, while power may be available, authority is what grants the right to execute it. This distinction helps us understand the divine structure God has set in place for the use of His power.

All power belongs to God and is available on earth through the name of Jesus Christ, as Philippians 2:10 emphasizes,
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.”
However, this power is accessed through authority, which God delegates to certain men—prophets, apostles, and other spiritual leaders—whom He has chosen and anointed.

For believers, this means that the ability to activate God's power in specific situations often comes through the authority conferred upon spiritual leaders. We see this model in the Bible where individuals pray, not just in their own strength, but standing on the authority of those who have been entrusted with a divine mandate. For instance, in Acts 3:6, Peter, an apostle with God-given authority, tells the lame man,
"Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."
Peter did not just rely on power, but exercised authority in Christ's name to manifest that power.

This dynamic of power and authority underscores why, in some cases, believers seek the intercession of prophets and spiritual leaders. These men and women, by virtue of their calling and divine commissioning, have been enabled to stand in the gap and exercise authority that others may not yet have fully accessed. James 5:16 reminds us,
"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
The righteous man, in this context, is often one who has been entrusted with both spiritual authority and insight, enabling them to declare victory over challenging situations.

Ultimately, we are all called to grow in our relationship with God, accessing His power and standing in our own God-given authority. However, God has set a divine order where He raises certain individuals to operate with greater authority for the sake of guiding and helping others. It is through this structure that we learn the balance between power and authority, understanding that both are necessary to experience the fullness of God's will on earth.

In conclusion, while power originates from God and is ever-present, authority is the vehicle through which this power is released into the earth. As believers, we must respect and honor the authority God has placed in certain individuals, while also growing in our own capacity to walk in divine authority through the Word, prayer, and alignment with God’s purposes. This understanding enables us to stand victorious, not only in our personal lives but also in the broader spiritual battles we face.

October Prophetic Focus: Inspired Praise as a Lifestyle for New Chapters by Kay Daniels

October Prophetic Focus: Inspired Praise as a Lifestyle for New Chapters

Genesis 8:5 - “The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.”

This encounter revealed a moment of hope after the flood, a turning point where Noah began to see signs of a new chapter. Similarly, as we step into a new season with a praiseful lifestyle, new beginnings often follow a season of waiting or challenge. Inspired praise helps us navigate through such transitions, preparing our hearts to embrace what’s next.

1. The Power of Praise in Waiting Seasons

Noah’s encounter shows that even in the midst of waiting, there is always an opportunity to worship God. For months, Noah waited in the ark, trusting that God would reveal the next step. In our lives, praise is key when we face uncertainty. It shifts our focus from what we cannot control to the One who controls all things – the almighty God.

  • Psalm 34:1 - "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

2. Praise Ushers in New Revelations

Genesis 8:5 marks the moment when the floodwaters began to recede, and Noah could see the mountaintops—a sign of new land and new possibilities. Praise allows us to see beyond our current situation to what God is preparing. As we worship, God gives us glimpses of what is to come, filling us with hope and vision.

  • Isaiah 43:19 - "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?"

3. Praise as a Weapon for Breakthrough

Praise is not just an expression of gratitude but a powerful weapon that breaks chains and opens doors for new opportunities. Like Paul and Silas in prison, their praise caused a divine breakthrough (Acts 16:25-26). In the same way, our consistent praise can open the way for the next chapter God has in store for us.

  • Psalm 22:3 - "But You are holy, O You that inhabit the praises of Israel."

4. Living a Lifestyle of Praise for Continuous Elevation

When praise becomes a lifestyle, it positions us for continuous growth and elevation. Just as the waters receded gradually, leading Noah to dry land, our journey into new chapters is often gradual, requiring sustained worship. Praise ensures that our hearts remain open and receptive to God’s leading.

  • Hebrews 13:15 - "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess His name."

As we step into new chapters in life, may we embrace praise as a lifestyle, inspired by God’s goodness and faithfulness. Just as Noah saw the mountaintops after the flood, praise will help us see the signs of new beginnings, fueling us with faith for what lies ahead.

Welcome to October, a month of

WHY SHOULD WE THANK GOD FOR NIGERIA? by Kay Daniels

WHY SHOULD WE THANK GOD FOR NIGERIA?

I say to you that it is a sin to refuse to thank God for Nigeria. Gratitude is not optional; it is commanded by God, even in difficult times. As Nigeria marks 64 years of independence, it is vital to reflect on the importance of thanking God for His hand in this nation.

According to Habakkuk 3:17-19
“Though the fig tree does not blossom, and there is no fruit on the vines; though the yield of the olive fails, and the fields produce no food; though the flock is cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, enabling me to tread on the heights.”

Even when circumstances seem bleak and Nigeria faces various challenges, we are reminded by this scripture to rejoice in the Lord. Our praise and gratitude are not dependent on what we see, but on who God is. Despite the trials, God remains our strength, and we must thank Him for the future He is preparing for Nigeria.

And according to the warnings of Malachi 2:2
“If you will not listen, and if you will not take it to heart to give glory to My name, says the Lord of hosts, I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart.”

This verse is a sobering reminder of the consequences of ingratitude. When we fail to give glory to God, we risk forfeiting the blessings He has bestowed upon us.

As Nigerians, it is our responsibility to take to heart the need to praise and thank God for His mercies and blessings on this nation. To refuse to thank God is to invite more hardship.

The Significance of October 1, 2024
On October 1, 2024 (01102024), which adds up to 10, Nigeria will celebrate 64 years, which also adds up to 10. The number 10 signifies perfection and divine order in biblical terms. There is perfection coming upon this nation, and we must align our hearts in thanksgiving to welcome this new season of divine breakthrough and fulfillment.

We need to really thank God for the following:

1. Thanksgiving for God's Mercy and Preservation

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end” (Lamentations 3:22).

Prayer: Lord, we thank You for Your unwavering mercy that has preserved Nigeria through every trial and tribulation. Your love has sustained us, and we are grateful.

2. Prayer for National Peace and Unity

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9).

Prayer: Father, we ask for peace in Nigeria. Let Your Spirit of unity reign across every tribe and tongue, knitting us together as one nation under God.

3. Prayer for Wisdom for Leaders

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God” (James 1:5).

Prayer: Lord, grant our leaders the wisdom to govern with integrity, righteousness, and the fear of God. Guide their decisions and align their hearts with Your will.

4. Prayer for Economic Restoration

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory” (Philippians 4:19).
Prayer: We ask for divine intervention in Nigeria’s economy. Lord, bring restoration and prosperity to every sector, supplying the needs of Your people.

5. Prayer for Revival and Spiritual Awakening

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face…” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Prayer: Lord, revive the hearts of Nigerians. Let there be a fresh wave of spiritual awakening across the land, drawing hearts back to You in fervent worship.

6. Prayer for Divine Protection

“The Lord is my refuge and fortress, my God, in whom I trust” (Psalm 91:2).

Prayer: We declare Your protection over every state in Nigeria. Shield us from violence, terrorism, and all forms of evil. Be our refuge, O God.

7. Prayer for Youth Empowerment and Education

“Train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6).

Prayer: Lord, we commit the youth of Nigeria into Your hands. Grant them opportunities for education and empowerment, raising a generation that will lead with purpose.

8. Prayer for Justice and Equity

“Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream” (Amos 5:24).

Prayer: Father, let justice reign in Nigeria. Uproot corruption and establish fairness and equity in all systems of governance.

9. Prayer for Healing and Reconciliation

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).

Prayer: Lord, heal the divisions and wounds that have plagued our nation. Let there be reconciliation across ethnic, religious, and political lines.

10. Prayer for a Glorious Future

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for the glorious future You have planned for Nigeria. We declare that Your plans for this nation will come to fruition, and Nigeria will fulfill her destiny.

The truth is, if we have lost anything as a nation, God is the reason we have not yet lost everything, so He deserves all the thanks.

As Nigeria celebrates her 64th independence, let us not forget to thank God for His hand upon this nation. Perfection is coming, and as we remain steadfast in prayer and thanksgiving, we position ourselves to witness God's perfect plan unfold in Nigeria. God bless Nigeria!

A SERVANT OF GOD FLYING BY GRACE (BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO) IS 70 TODAY

A Reflection of God's Faithfulness Through His Servant (Bishop David Oyedepo).

We soar on the wings of gratitude, lifted high by praise and raised up in glory. It is divine wisdom to sing our own song of thanksgiving, and we are personally grateful to our Father in heaven for His unfailing love, grace, and mercy. In the seen and unseen, in battles we knew of and those fought without our knowledge, God has always been our champion. He does the work, fights our battles, and ensures victory at every turn.

To be ungrateful is to walk in ignorance, for God owes us nothing, yet we owe Him everything. Even in moments when we think we have lost, it is God who ensures that we haven’t lost it all. The depth of His mercy and grace is beyond measure, and He deserves all our praise.

Today, September 27, 2024, marks a monumental celebration. God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo, turns 70 today, and heaven itself rejoices. As the day opened, showers of rain descended from above, a divine sign of God’s favor, washing away the schemes of the enemy and nourishing the trees of righteousness. This is not just another day; it is a day of renewal, of new beginnings, of fresh anointing.

Through Bishop Oyedepo, God has accomplished tremendous works in our lives. He has been an instrument of God’s grace, leading us on paths of wisdom, prosperity, and divine purpose. His teachings, rooted in unwavering faith and obedience, have guided multitudes to discover their God-given destinies. In the storms of life, his words have been like anchors, rooted in Scripture, reminding us that with God, no battle is too great and no challenge is insurmountable.

He has led with courage, always lifting the banner of Christ high and calling us to higher levels of faith and excellence. By God's hand upon him, millions have found hope, families have been restored, and nations have been transformed.

On this day, as we reflect on the life and ministry of Bishop Oyedepo, we are reminded of the power of faith, dedication, and the pursuit of divine purpose. God has truly used him as a beacon of light to illuminate our paths, showing us the way to victory and eternal joy.

So, we raise our voices in praise and thanksgiving, for all God has done through him. For the countless lives touched, for the battles won, for the victories sealed in heaven and manifested on earth, we give glory to God. The heavens celebrate today, and so do we.

Hurray! God’s servant is 70, and the best is yet to come!

This reflection honors both God and His servant, Bishop David Oyedepo, by highlighting the divine impact of his ministry on individual lives and the larger body of Christ. It is a powerful testimony of God's grace, victory, and the transformational leadership of Bishop Oyedepo.

The Process of Entering The Kingdom of God by Dr Myles Munroe

Preach the store and not the door.
When you market the store making reference to the door, many shall scramble for the door.
The key is the kingdom and not the door.
All there is to seek is the kingdom alone.
But to access the kingdom, there is a need to reference the right door that leads to the kingdom. Jesus says, seek ye first the kingdom and all other things shall be added to you. he never pointed to himself. he said, seek the kingdom. Jesus is the door that leads to the kingdom. We are not to preach "Jesus"but preach the kingdom with strong reference to Jesus.

WORDSPIRATION: CELEBRATING DR DAVID OLANIYI OYEDEPO AT 70 DAY 7

To rise as a leader, one must first define their core—their unique set of values, passions, and guiding principles. The world is filled with distractions, and without clarity of purpose, it’s easy to be swayed by trends, opinions, and the pursuit of immediate results.

Upcoming leaders need to take time to identify what truly drives them, what they stand for, and the impact they want to create. This foundation is critical because it shapes the trajectory of their leadership journey.

Once the core is defined, the next step is to believe in it wholeheartedly. When it takes root in the heart, it soon becomes handlable with the hands. If it gets planted in the heart, it soon getminates in the earth.

Doubt can erode confidence, making even the strongest convictions seem insignificant.

The road to leadership is not without challenges, but belief in one’s purpose fuels resilience.

It allows a leader to push through obstacles, endure criticism, and rise above failures.

Belief is what transforms potential into action. It becomes the energy that inspires others to follow.

Investing in your core is the final piece. Every leader must pour their time, resources, and energy into refining their abilities, expanding their knowledge, and continuously growing in their field.

This means sacrificing comfort for growth, prioritizing long-term impact over short-term gains, and aligning every decision with their purpose.

The investment doesn’t just benefit the leader; it uplifts those around them and builds a legacy that transcends their personal influence.

As we celebrate Dr. David Oyedepo’s 70th birthday, of which the D- day is tomorrow 27th Sept we see these principles personified in his life.

He has consistently defined and believed in his divine calling, investing all he is into it.

His unwavering faith, dedication, and visionary leadership have impacted myself and obviously millions worldwide, setting a powerful example of what it means to rise as a leader.

Dr. Oyedepo, thank you for being a beacon of excellence and purpose.

May God continue to bless you with wisdom, strength, and grace as you enter this new chapter.

Happy 70th birthday, sir!

Ask of me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as your possession.

Greatitude is key to Greatness - Grace does not give "my Story" but "His Story"

The essence of greatness and success is recognizing that God in man is what makes the difference. The glory of any man's achievements, success, or marvel lies in God's divine presence within him. This is captured clearly in Acts 14:15, where Paul and Barnabas exclaimed, "We are men of like nature with you!"—highlighting that without God's presence, they were mere men.

Our strength does not lie in ourselves but in God's power working through us. As written in 2 Corinthians 4:7, "We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us." God often chooses the weak, not the strong, so that His strength and glory can be made manifest through human frailty. He perfects His power in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), demonstrating that we do not rely on our abilities, but on His grace.

God's Glory in His Chosen
God's pattern is often to call the weak so that He alone can receive all the glory. The Bible is filled with examples of those who, by their own might, could not accomplish the tasks before them but were empowered by God. Moses, who initially felt inadequate to lead (Exodus 4:10), became the great deliverer by God's power. Gideon was called when he was weak and afraid, but God worked through him to deliver Israel (*Judges 6:15-16*).

Our Areas of Grace, Not Strength
As 1 Corinthians 15:10 says, "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain." We don't possess areas of strength but areas where God’s grace abounds. Grace is God's empowering presence, enabling us to be what we cannot be on our own.

The Danger of Self-Praise
When people begin to sing your praises, it becomes a dangerous moment for your spiritual walk. It is often said that "when people sing your praise, they are killing you unintentionally." Psalm 71:7 reveals that it is God who makes a man a marvel to others. As believers, we must guard our hearts against self-commendation, for "he that commendeth himself is not approved" (2 Corinthians 10:18). We must remember, as James 1:17 teaches, that "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above." Therefore, giving God the glory in all things protects us from pride.

The Wisdom of Dependence on God
It is wisdom to always look up to God in every situation. As 1 Corinthians 4:7 asks, "For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive?" Everything we have comes from God, and it is only by His grace that we are what we are. Just like Deuteronomy 32:11 describes the eagle that stirs up its nest and bears its young on its wings, so God bears us up, carrying us to heights we could never reach on our own.

A Lifestyle of Thanksgiving
We are either thanking God or complaining. Those who fail to give God thanks ultimately sink under the weight of their own circumstances. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 admonishes, "In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." When we thank God for what He is doing, He completes the rest of the work. The story of the ten lepers in Luke 17:11-19 serves as a clear reminder that it is the one who returns to give thanks that receives wholeness.

Conclusion: The Power of Grace
In conclusion, we must acknowledge that everything we are and everything we do is by God's grace. There is no room for self-reliance or boasting. We are lifted by God’s grace, not by our own strength. As we submit ourselves to God, acknowledging His role in every area of our lives, we set ourselves on a course where His glory is revealed through us, and His name is exalted in all that we do.

Let us never forget, as Psalm 115:1 says, “Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.” The greatest wisdom is to continually fix our gaze on God, recognizing that without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). May His grace continue to carry us forward in every endeavor.

In the world, it's man's ordinary approach that makes a task look ordinary.

Every task, whether great or small, has inherent significance. It is not the nature of the task that determines its importance, but the attitude and approach of the individual performing it. The Bible reminds us of this in Colossians 3:23:
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;"

When we commit ourselves to a task as though we are doing it for God, no effort is wasted, no duty is trivial, and no assignment is insignificant. An ordinary approach leads to an ordinary outcome, but with a heart fully dedicated to the task, even the most mundane work becomes a divine mission.

Jesus, in Luke 16:10, teaches, *“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.”* Our approach to the "least" reflects how we will handle the greater responsibilities God may entrust us with. Therefore, we are called to excellence in all things. Even when the world sees something as small or inconsequential, we are to treat it as a matter of eternal consequence, for every action sown in faithfulness bears fruit in the eyes of God.

Proverbs 22:29 further illustrates this, saying:
*"Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men."*
Diligence and commitment elevate the most ordinary tasks into opportunities for greatness. This Scripture calls us to serve with excellence, ensuring that our approach to every responsibility reflects the excellence that God demands of us as His representatives.

Let us, therefore, refuse to settle for the ordinary. Let us reject the temptation to approach life’s assignments with complacency. Rather, let us embrace every task, however ordinary it may seem, with a spirit of distinction, for we serve a God of excellence.

As we Celebrate Bishop David Oyedepo at 70 we declare Heavenly Father,  We lift up Your servant, Bishop David Oyedepo, in this season of his 70th birthday. We thank You for the grace, wisdom, and anointing that You have poured upon his life, making him a beacon of Your light and truth in this generation.

Lord, we ask that You continue to bless him with strength, health, and divine vision. As he has been a vessel of honor and excellence in Your Kingdom, may You enlarge his coast and take him from glory to glory. Like Moses, let his eyes not grow dim, nor his natural vigor be diminished (Deuteronomy 34:7).

Father, we pray that the legacy of faith, leadership, and impact that You have established through him will continue to inspire generations to come. May his voice of wisdom resound even louder, guiding many more into their divine destinies.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray,
Amen.

Beware of Broken Focus: A Scattered Mind Leads Nowhere

In a world filled with distractions, it's easy for the mind to wander and for focus to break. However, broken focus is a subtle enemy that hinders progress and causes one to drift aimlessly. The Bible is clear about the power of focus and the need for single-mindedness in our pursuit of purpose.

In James 1:8, it says, "A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways." This scripture reminds us that when our attention is divided, instability follows. The scattered mind leads to confusion, uncertainty, and ultimately, unfulfilled potential. Instead, we are called to fix our gaze on what matters.

Proverbs 4:25-27 encourages us to "Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil." Here, the Word of God highlights the importance of setting a clear direction and maintaining unwavering focus.

Even the Apostle Paul exemplifies this mindset when he said, "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14). He understood that to reach the goal, one's mind must be fully set on the task, without allowing distractions to derail the journey.

Maintaining focus requires discipline and a heart aligned with God’s purpose. In Matthew 6:22-23, Jesus speaks about having a “single eye” that is full of light, a metaphor for clarity and focus. He teaches that when our spiritual and mental vision is clear and focused on God’s Kingdom, everything else falls into place.

Conclusion: Birthday Message to Bishop David Oyedepo at 70

As we reflect on the power of focus, we are reminded of the incredible journey of one of God's generals, Bishop David Oyedepo. Your life, marked by unwavering dedication, relentless pursuit of excellence, and a clear focus on God's divine mandate, has inspired millions across the globe.

On this special occasion of your 70th birthday, we celebrate your faith, vision, and leadership. May the Lord continue to strengthen you, increase your wisdom, and empower you to fulfill even greater exploits for His Kingdom. Happy birthday, Bishop David Oyedepo! Your life is a testament to the beauty of a focused, purpose-driven life, and we are grateful for the impact you have made on this generation and generations to come.

WORDSPIRATION: CELEBRATING DR DAVID OLANIYI OYEDEPO AT 70 DAY 4

**Beware of the "Here and There" Syndrome: Stay Committed to Your Purpose**

In life, many people fall into the "here and there" syndrome, where they chase after every opportunity, idea, or distraction that comes their way, without a clear focus or commitment to their purpose. This scattered approach leads to frustration, lack of progress, and wasted potential. To fulfill your God-given purpose, it is crucial to stay focused, avoid distractions, and commit fully to your calling.

### **1. Avoid Distractions and Stay Focused on Your Purpose**

Distractions are inevitable in life, but allowing them to steer you away from your purpose can hinder the plans God has for you. The Bible advises against being double-minded or easily swayed. James 1:8 says, **"A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways."** When we lack focus, we become unstable, and our spiritual growth and progress suffer. Like a runner focused on the finish line, we must press on toward the goal, undeterred by the distractions around us.

### **2. Stay Committed to Your God-Given Assignment**

Ecclesiastes 9:10 encourages us to be diligent in our work: **"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might."** This means putting all our energy into the tasks God has assigned us, without wavering. If we commit fully to our purpose, God will bless our efforts. When we stay committed, like Nehemiah rebuilding the wall in Jerusalem, we accomplish great things. Nehemiah 6:3 says, **“I am doing a great work, and I cannot come down."** Despite opposition and distractions, Nehemiah stayed focused on his task, which led to the successful completion of the wall.

### **3. Set Your Mind on Things Above**

Colossians 3:2 reminds us to, **"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things."** When we focus on our heavenly purpose, we are less likely to be swayed by fleeting distractions. Jesus Himself set the example of staying focused on His mission despite opposition, temptations, and challenges (Luke 9:51). He remained steadfast in fulfilling His purpose of redeeming humanity.

### **4. Seek God's Guidance to Stay on Track**

Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to, **"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."** A key part of avoiding distractions is seeking God's guidance daily. By submitting our plans to God and seeking His wisdom, we ensure that we remain on the path He has set for us.

### **5. The Danger of Chasing After Every Opportunity**

Chasing every opportunity can lead to exhaustion and confusion. The Bible warns against this in Proverbs 12:11, **"Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense."** Rather than chasing fantasies or jumping from one thing to another, we are called to be faithful in our current assignments, trusting that God will open the right doors at the right time.

### **6. Endure and Persevere in Your Purpose**

Hebrews 12:1-2 encourages us to **“run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith."** Staying committed to your purpose requires endurance, especially when faced with challenges or distractions. By keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, we are empowered to persevere and finish the race God has called us to.

WORDSPIRATION: CELEBRATING DR DAVID OLANIYI OYEDEPO AT 70 DAY 2

Impact Demands Core Attention to One's Core Assignment

True impact in life is only possible when you focus on the specific purpose or assignment God has given you. Just as Jesus focused on His earthly mission, we must align ourselves with God's purpose for our lives, staying committed and undistracted.

This principle is reflected throughout Scripture, where individuals fulfill their divine calling by focusing on their core assignment.

1. The Importance of Knowing Your Core Assignment

The first step to having a true impact is understanding your purpose. God has a unique assignment for each individual, which requires personal discovery and alignment with His will.

Ephesians 2:10: "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

This verse highlights that God has designed each of us with a specific purpose, and we are called to walk in those good works He has planned for us.

Jeremiah 1:5: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

Like Jeremiah, God has uniquely formed each person with a specific calling, and recognizing this assignment is the foundation for making a lasting impact.

2. Focus: The Key to True Impact

Once you’ve discovered your assignment, your impact will depend on your ability to focus on it. Distractions and diversions will always arise, but the Bible repeatedly shows that those who focus on their calling produce great results.

Philippians 3:13-14: "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

Paul exemplifies a focused pursuit of his divine purpose, pressing on toward his heavenly goal without letting distractions from the past hinder him.

Luke 9:62: "Jesus replied, 'No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.'"

Jesus teaches the importance of maintaining a forward focus in the pursuit of God’s kingdom work. Looking back or becoming distracted compromises one’s effectiveness.

3. Faithfulness to Your Assignment Brings True Impact

The Bible highlights the value of faithfulness and perseverance in fulfilling one’s calling. Those who remain steadfast in their assignment ultimately see God’s blessings and make a lasting impact.

Matthew 25:21: "His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’"

This parable shows that faithfulness in fulfilling even the small tasks God assigns leads to greater responsibilities and impact.

2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

Paul reflects on the importance of perseverance and finishing the race. Completing your core assignment is key to achieving true impact.

4. Avoiding Distractions: Staying Aligned with Your Assignment

In a world filled with distractions, we must remain aligned with God's will for our lives. Jesus is the ultimate example of a person who remained focused on His core assignment despite numerous challenges and temptations.

Hebrews 12:2: "Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Jesus stayed focused on His mission because He looked beyond the immediate pain and focused on the ultimate goal. We too must keep our eyes on the prize of fulfilling God's assignment.

Nehemiah 6:3: "So I sent messengers to them with this reply: 'I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?'"

Nehemiah stayed focused on rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls despite distractions. His response illustrates the need to guard against anything that diverts us from our core assignment.

5. The Reward of Focused Impact: Eternal Significance

When we focus on our core assignment, the impact we make has both temporal and eternal value. By aligning ourselves with God’s will, we contribute to His kingdom in ways that last beyond our lifetime.

1 Corinthians 15:58: "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

Our efforts, when focused on God's work, are never wasted. They have eternal significance and bear fruit that lasts.

As we reflect on the power of focus and the fulfillment of one’s divine assignment, we are reminded of a living example of these principles in action—Dr. David Olaniyi Oyedepo

Covenant Word of Inspiration: Redemption: A Path to Distinction by Kay Daniels

Redemption: A Path to Distinction

Redemption Transforms Us into a New Creation

Redemption in Christ makes us a "new creation," setting us apart from our past and empowering us to live a life of purpose and excellence.
Scripture Reference:
2 Corinthians 5:17 – "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
Message: Redemption is not just about forgiveness; it’s a complete transformation that gives us a fresh start, distinct from our former selves.
God’s Redemption Sets Us Apart as His Special Possession

Through redemption, we are set apart as God’s chosen people, distinct from the world, and called to reflect His glory.
Scripture Reference:
1 Peter 2:9 – "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
Message: Our redemption in Christ makes us distinct as a royal priesthood, empowered to live in the light of God’s purpose.
Redeemed for Good Works

We are not only saved but also redeemed to excel in good works, setting us apart for God’s mission on earth.
Scripture Reference:
Ephesians 2:10 – "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Message: Redemption equips us for excellence and good works, making us distinct in the way we impact the world for God’s glory.
Redemption Breaks the Curse and Brings Blessing

Redemption breaks the curse of sin and brings us into God’s blessing, distinguishing us as recipients of His favor.
Scripture Reference:
Galatians 3:13-14 – "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us... He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus."
Message: By breaking the curse through redemption, we are positioned for distinction, inheriting the blessings of Abraham.
Redemption Elevates Us to a Heavenly Standard

We are not only redeemed from sin but elevated to live a life reflecting God’s glory, set apart from the world.
Scripture Reference:
Philippians 3:20 – "But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ."
Message: Redemption gives us a heavenly identity and standard, making us distinct as ambassadors of Christ on earth.
Redeemed for Eternal Glory

Redemption sets us apart for eternal glory, ensuring that we are not only distinct in this life but also in eternity.
Scripture Reference:
Romans 8:30 – "And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified."
Message: We are redeemed not just for earthly success but for eternal distinction, sharing in the glory of Christ.
Conclusion: Redemption Sets Us Apart for God’s Glory
Redemption is a divine process of setting us apart for a life of purpose, excellence, and distinction. Through Christ, we are no longer bound by the past but are called into a life of significance. We are His chosen vessels, redeemed to reflect His glory in every area of life.
