COURSE OBJECTIVES AND INTRODUCTION

OBJECTIVES

2. To expose the students to a life of resourceful thinking.
3. To help them cultivate a life of reading, observation, reasoning and challenging their mind for great exploit in life.

INTRODUCTION
Your worth in life is essentially a product of the use of your mind. Man is a unique creature, and possesses unusual endowments. There is so much inside man; only eternity can reveal the total worth of the creature called “Man”.

As a child of God, you have what it takes to make the most of life. If unregenerated minds have produced most of what we see today, then God is expecting more from you through the use of your mind.

DEVELOPMENT: To bring out what is latent
To work out the potentialities
To cause to grow
To explore

a. Learning: This takes place in the mind because the mind has the ability to acquire, store information and makes it available when needed.

c. Reasoning: This simply means engaging in a rational and logical thinking.
d. Imagination: which is the formation of a mental image of something.
