This course will help the students to:
1. Understand what dream is.
2. Know how to dream
3. Raise a dreamful generation.
INTRODUCTION
How far can you see? Where have you fixed in your mind’s eye to land yourself?
Thomas Carlyle said, “There is a hero in every man” but it takes a dream to make the hero emerge. Don’t just be living, have a dream for living. This is what makes life worth living.
Life without a dream is dieing while you are still alive. Take time to dream, it is hitching your wagon to a star.
LESSON 2
DEFINITION
POWER - Ability to do anything
- Capacity for producing an effect
- The moving force of anything
- Potentiality.
DREAM - The picture you have in your mind
concerning your future
- A seed that God plants in the fertile soil of your heart
- Dream here should not be mistaken with what you see when you sleep. But a conscious picture you have in your mind concerning your future. - Genesis 37:5–10.
POWER OF DREAM - The ability to catch a picture in
your mind concerning your future.
LESSON 3
IMPORTANCE OF DREAM
a) It gives you a colourful picture of your future.
b) It makes you have a reason for living.
c) It shapes your life.
d) It keeps you on even when everything around seems not working
e) It establishes your expected end.
LESSON 4
SOURCES OF DREAM
The authentic source of dream is God. But He delivers it to us through the following avenues or channels:
a) The word of God. Genesis 15:4 - 6
b) Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
c) Through observation.
d) Creative curiosity.
LESSON 5
HOW TO BIRTH YOUR DREAM
The beauty of dream is not in having one, but in birthing it.
a) Be diligent: Proverbs 22:29

b) Be focused: Acts 20:24
c) Be determined: 1 Cor. 2:2
d) Be hopeful: Rom. 4:17 - 22
e) Be disciplined: 1 Cor. 9:24 - 27
f) Encourage yourself with your word: 1 Sam. 30:6; Ps. 42:11
LESSON 6
KEEPING YOUR DREAM ALIVE
Habakkuk 2:2
Once God has planted a dream within your heart, He has every intention of bringing it to pass. 1 Thess. 5:24. But He needs your cooperation to make sure the dream is not killed.
a) Pin down your dream through writing.
b) Have a clear picture of your dream.
c) Run with your dream
d) Keep it constantly before you.
