BUILDING YOUR FAITH FOR KINGDOM VICTORY by Kay Daniels

Anchor Scriptures: 1 John 5:4, Romans 10:17, Jude 1:20
The Word of God shapes people’s lives when they are properly disposed to it. No life can rise above the quality of the Word it receives, believes, and practices.

Faith is not optional in Christianity; faith is the very foundation of our walk with God. Without faith, Christianity loses meaning, because everything in the kingdom operates by faith.

1 John 5:4 declares that whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. To be an overcomer, you must mind your faith. Your faith is as important to your spiritual life as breath is to your natural life. We are saved by faith, stand by faith, walk by faith, live by faith, made whole by faith, and overcome by faith.

Faith does not grow by chance. Nothing valuable grows on its own.

Every valuable plant must be cultivated. In the same way, faith must be built, fed, exercised, and protected. Stop waiting for your faith to grow automatically; make the right investment in the Word of God.
Romans 10:17 says, “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Faith grows when the Word is heard, understood, believed, and practiced. As understanding opens up, faith comes alive. Faith thrives on spiritual understanding. The Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:26–35 had access to Scripture, but his faith came alive when understanding was supplied.

Understanding is the ability to see what God is saying through His Word. This is why Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:18 that the eyes of understanding be enlightened, and David prayed in Psalm 119:18, “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” The Word contains both letters and wonders, but it takes genuine spiritual labour to access the wonders hidden in the letters.

Faith is a personal asset. Habakkuk 2:4 says, “The just shall live by his faith.” You cannot live on another person’s faith forever. God reaches people at the level of their faith.

Matthew 9:29 says, “According to your faith be it unto you.” Therefore, do not wait for things to happen; rise in faith and make things happen by the Word.
Faith also grows through meditation. Psalm 119:97–100 shows that meditation in the Word produces wisdom, understanding, and spiritual superiority. Word thinkers become faith giants. When you learn to think in the Word and think by the Word, your profiting becomes evident, as stated in 1 Timothy 4:15.

New birth is the capital qualification for a lifestyle of faith. You can be in church and still not be in touch with God until you genuinely accept Christ. The mysteries of the kingdom are reserved for those who belong to the kingdom. Mark 4:11 says, “Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God.” Revelation begins with redemption.

It also takes spiritual mindedness to access true faith. Psalm 25:14 says, “The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him.” The fear of the Lord is the foundation for supernatural access to revelation. Insight answers to reverence. There must be a turn before things can turn around. When the heart turns to God, light begins to break forth.

Faith also demands a panting heart. Isaiah 55:1 calls everyone who thirsts to come to the waters. Those who crave revelation locate answers. You cannot breathe faith by chance; you must invest in prayer, fasting, study, meditation, and obedience.

The Holy Spirit is also vital in building faith. John 14:26 reveals Him as the Teacher, while 1 Corinthians 2:12–14 shows that spiritual things can only be spiritually discerned. The Holy Spirit teaches, reveals, reminds, and guides the believer into truth.

Engage your spirit man in the search for light, because human intellect has limited capacity to access divine truth.
Proverbs 20:27 says, “The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord.” Your spirit is God’s searchlight within you. Whatever gains access to your spirit becomes deeply rooted and difficult to erase. This is why revelation must not remain in the head alone; it must enter the heart.

There is no negotiation between light and darkness. When light comes, darkness must bow. Therefore, with faith, wake up and confront whatever is staring you in the face. Faith is not passive; faith acts. Faith speaks. Faith obeys. Faith searches. Faith stands.

To drive any great vision, you must read, study, meditate, pray, and obey. The substance of redemption is faith. Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith.” Faith is the hand that receives what grace has provided.

Key Charge
Stop waiting for your faith to grow. Build it. Feed it. Exercise it. Protect it. Invest in the Word. Engage the Holy Spirit. Search with your spirit. Meditate day and night. Walk in the fear of God. Crave revelation. Obey the faith.

Your faith is your victory. Your faith is your access. Your faith is your kingdom breath.
