As believers, we are instructed to pursue peace and wisdom rather than contention and strife. Distance is not weakness; it is wisdom. When honor is absent, your presence must also be absent.

Jesus Himself demonstrated this principle—He never forced His presence where He was not welcomed. When the people of His hometown dishonored Him, He departed (Matthew 13:57-58). When the Pharisees sought to trap Him in their debates, He often responded with silence or walked away (Luke 4:28-30).

Rather than engaging in endless arguments or unnecessary conflicts, learn to withdraw with grace and dignity. Go where you are celebrated, not just tolerated.

"He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward."

When you honor the anointing upon a prophet, you position yourself to partake in the blessings and manifestations of that grace. The way you receive and perceive an anointed vessel determines what flows from them into your life.

2. Elijah and Elisha: The Power of Honor

"And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, ‘Ask! Elisha attracted the double portion of Elijah’s anointing because he followed, served, and honored his master with unwavering commitment. His ability to receive the anointing was tied to his reverence and recognition of the grace upon Elijah.

At the root of our spirituality is supernatural manifestation. As children of God, we are designed for signs and wonders (Isaiah 8:18). 

Christianity is not just an escape route to heaven; it is a call to live the supernatural life here on earth (John 3:5-8). 

Just as the wind moves invisibly yet impacts everything around it, so are those who are born of the Spirit—our movement may not always be visible, but our impact is undeniable.

THE NATURE OF THE SUPERNATURAL LIFE


Supernatural Wisdom Overrides Natural Laws

The wisdom of God surpasses human understanding and counters natural limitations. (1 Corinthians 2:6-8, James 3:17)

Jesus defied natural laws by walking on water, demonstrating that the supernatural life transcends earthly limitations. (Matthew 14:22-26)

The Supernatural Life Is God’s Indwelling Presence in Mortal Man

Christ in us is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). It is God’s presence within us that enables us to manifest His divine nature.

What you carry on the inside determines your dominion. The greater the presence of God in you, the greater your authority over situations. (1 John 4:4)

Supernatural Living Conquers Every Obstacle

The challenges that consume others cannot consume those walking in the supernatural. The lions’ den could not consume Daniel because the supernatural was at work in him (Daniel 6:16-22).

The Red Sea parted for Moses, but Jesus walked over the waters. When the supernatural is at work, what stops others becomes a platform for your dominion. (Exodus 14:21-22, Matthew 14:25)

The Supernatural Gives You a Voice in Unseen Realms

The supernatural empowers you to have dominion even in the face of opposition. Paul’s life was a testament to this truth (2 Corinthians 11:23-25).

Even in the valley of death, your voice shall resound with authority, for the supernatural makes you a living wonder. (Psalm 23:4)

The Supernatural Life Is for the Spiritually Mature

The supernatural answers in the hands of those who have grown spiritually. Maturity in the Spirit grants access to deeper dimensions of power. (Hebrews 5:14, 1 Corinthians 2:9-10)

Those who abide in the secret place of the Most High shall walk in divine immunity. (Psalm 91:1-7)

Know Your Position in People’s Lives – It’s Called Self-Worth

Many people struggle with knowing where they stand in relationships, friendships, or social circles. The Bible encourages self-respect, wisdom in relationships, and understanding one’s worth in Christ. When people do not involve or invite you, wisdom teaches that you should not force your presence. True self-worth comes from knowing your value in God, not from seeking validation from others.

1. Don’t Force Relationships – Know Your Place

  • Proverbs 25:6-7"Put not forth thyself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men: For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen."
    → Don’t force yourself into places where you are not welcomed; let honor find you.

  • Luke 14:8-10"When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him… But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee."
    → Know your place; those who truly value you will elevate you at the right time.

2. Stop Chasing People Who Don’t Value You

  • Psalm 118:8"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man."
    → Your worth should come from God, not from human acceptance.

    → Surround yourself with people who genuinely appreciate you.

  • 2 Corinthians 6:14"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?"
    → Not all relationships are meant to last; choose wisely whom you associate with.

  • 1 Samuel 16:1"And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons."
    → Stop mourning over people who no longer value you—God has better for you.

    → You are already valuable—walk in that confidence.

Conclusion

Know your worth. If people do not involve you, don’t force yourself in. If they don’t invite you, don’t go uninvited. Walk in the confidence that God has placed you where you are meant to be. Value yourself enough to surround yourself with those who truly appreciate and honor you.

The Faith That Dominates

Faith is a dominant force that operates in the present tense. It is now faith that is needed for now issues (Hebrews 11:1). Nothing dominates like faith that is current and active. Faith grants access to a world of unlimited possibilities! As Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27). He also declared, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23).

Faith Brings You Into the Realm of God

Faith positions you in the same operational realm as God. At the tomb of Lazarus, Jesus said, “If thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God” (John 11:39-40). With faith, nothing is irreversible! Whatever has no stand in heaven is changeable on the earth (Matthew 6:10). Faith enforces heaven’s realities in the affairs of men.

God’s Word declares:

“God cannot lie” (Titus 1:2, Hebrews 6:18).

“Blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord” (Luke 1:45).

“The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand” (Isaiah 14:24).


Wisdom: The Substance of Faith

Faith is not blind; wisdom is the "substance" that gives credibility to faith. Just as data powers technology, divine wisdom powers faith. When our belief is founded on wisdom, it transforms into an unshakable, undeniable, and irresistible faith.

Faith That Works Requires a Good Conscience

For faith to produce results, it must be upheld in a good conscience (James 1:7, 1 Timothy 1:19, 3:9). The eyes of the Lord run to and fro, seeking those whose hearts are perfect toward Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). The state of your heart matters in your walk of faith (2 Chronicles 25:2, Acts 24:16).

Faith in Christ: The Key to Victory

Jesus alone must be the absolute focus of your faith, for He alone is the terminator of sorrow (Psalm 16:4). Godliness remains profitable unto all things (1 Timothy 4:8). Faith that is void of wisdom is blind faith, but faith that is founded on wisdom is ever-winning faith!

Let your faith be active, current, and rooted in divine wisdom. This is the faith that dominates!

Education is valuable, but it does not automatically make a person wise. A person can have multiple degrees yet lack sound judgment, understanding, and wisdom. The Bible distinguishes between worldly knowledge and godly wisdom, emphasizing that true intelligence comes from God.

1. Education Alone Does Not Equal Wisdom

  • Job 32:8-9"But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment."
    → Academic achievements do not guarantee wisdom; true understanding comes from God.

  • Ecclesiastes 7:12"For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it."
    → Education may offer knowledge, but wisdom gives life and direction.

  • 1 Corinthians 1:19-20“For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?”
    → Worldly knowledge without divine wisdom is ultimately meaningless.

    → Academic degrees do not grant wisdom—God does.

1. Success Comes from Fulfilling Purpose, Not Seeking Approval

  • Jeremiah 1:5“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
    → Your success is based on God's plan for you, not people's expectations.

  • Galatians 1:10“For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.”
    → Living to prove others wrong leads to a life of striving, but success in Christ is about fulfilling His purpose.

2. True Success Is Internal Validation, Not External Recognition

  • Psalm 109:2-3"For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue. They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause."
    → Haters often spread falsehoods out of envy, malice, or resentment.

  • Proverbs 6:16-19"These six things doth the Lord hate... a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."
    → God detests those who create lies and stir up division through falsehood.

  • John 8:44"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."
    → The devil is the source of all lies, and those who fabricate rumors act under his influence.

In today's world, many people prioritize relationships and personal benefits over standing for truth and righteousness. However, the Bible warns against partiality, injustice, and self-centered defense.

1. The Decline of True Justice

  • Isaiah 59:14-15"And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment."
    → This describes a time when truth is abandoned and those who stand for righteousness are attacked.

  • Micah 7:3"That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up."
    → Leaders and influencers often protect their own interests rather than defend what is right.

2. Defending People Over Principles

  • Proverbs 24:23-24"These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment. He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him."
    → Favored treatment in judgment leads to widespread injustice and societal decay.

  • Leviticus 19:15"Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour."
    → God commands fairness—justice should not be based on status, personal benefits, or relationships.

For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment... Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and have become judges of evil thoughts?"
    → Favoreditism is condemned because it leads to biased decisions.
