Every nation or country always deserves the leadership they get.

Positional leaders or government are a product of the kind of people that make up that society.

When people fail at their personal leadership responsibilities, there is no way they can excel at positional leadership.

To therefore enthrone the right people in government therefore demands a righteous tongue, a heart void of offence and a willingness to serve.

As Christians, we excel in leadership when we embrace the teachings of Jesus on what it takes to be a worthy leader. His teaching helps us to know that leadership is all about serving the interest of Gods kingdom on the earth.

To serve God effectively requires that we love people and protect lives. "No cattle's life can be compared to the blood of a human life". To therefore jeopardize human life at the expense of " animals" reveals the failure inherent in our personal leadership DNA.

Before the PVC can elect good leaders, voters must get it right in their heart.

THE TONGUE, THE HEART AND YOUR PVC Part 1

One of the most powerful tool God has given to mankind is the ability to create sounds.

Words are powerful when wielded. The tongue is very small but has the power to set a city on fire.

The coming of social media platforms like Facebook, twitter, WhatsApp etc has suddenly made it possible for people to express themselves without thinking.

It is not enough to say things, it is wisdom to think before saying anything. Words can bless, and as well it can curse.

Fools care nothing for thoughtful discourse; all they do is run off at the mouth. Proverbs 18:2 MSG

So many people have lost a lot, by just paying attention to false news that now saturates the air space. People would rather buy lies than to invest in the truth.

Peoples ears today crave for false news about everything. To pride in the truth these days is to appear like one from the stone age. What a shame.

Politicians use false promises to confuse voters, and voters whose conscience is tied to their belly fall flat for those lies.

For instance, when the prophets strictly warned people about an islamization agenda before the last election, the same people crying fowl today pride themselves with the empty promises sold to them by politicians who had next to no idea what they were going to do in government.

Another election is on the way, and all we hear is, "get your PVC" as though the PVC would on it's own decide the right candidate.

What is needed now is a national rebirth, we need to revisit our values and teach electorates the principles of integrity, which begins with speaking the truth, first to ourselves and by extension, to our neighbours.

Words shape who we are, and who we are would drive us into fulfilling the dominion mandate, which is to give form to the earth.

To all Nigerians desiring to experience true change, recondition your mind to speak and stand for the truth before deciding to go for PVC. PVC in itself is useless when the heart is ruled by falsehood.

"Fools are undone by their big mouths; their souls are crushed by their words. Listening to gossip is like eating cheap candy; do you really want junk like that in your belly?" Proverbs 18:7-8

It is time to speak the truth from the heart if we are serious about good leadership in African Nations.

Everyone in government whose incompetence is rubbing the nations face to the mud shall be expelled.

Evil men and women disguised as politicians, out to mislead the electorates at the next elections shall have their cover blown open by the Almighty God. Their lies will not prosper.

REDISCOVERING YOURSELF

In preparing for a glorious future, there is always a need to make clear your purpose. 

Knowing who you are and what you were designed to do is key to knowing your destination. 

Purpose would always coincide with natural talents and abilities

The purpose of a thing, which is revealed in its design and nature, is always accompanied by certain innate abilities. They are there naturally. 

Purpose never requires something that natural abilities do not provide for. 

God never requires anything of his creatures that he didn't already built into them

You are custom built to fulfill a particular purpose on the earth. 

You have all it takes by design to be who you are created to be

God puts into everything the potential and the nature for its purpose. Purpose, therefore, is accompanied by natural abilities. You are naturally like what you are supposed to do. 

If he did not build it into you, he would not ask you to do it, because purpose is always accompanied by the innate qualities and characteristics it requires. 

You have what you need to be who you are meant to be. 

What you love and desire to do naturally is usually what you were born to do. 

Purpose allows you to be yourself. The discovery of purpose is the discovery of you. 

Jesus said, "I am only quoting your inspired Scriptures, where God said, 'I tell you - you are 'gods'. If God called your ancestors 'gods' - and scriptures doesn't lie - why do you yell, Blasphemer! Blasphemer!!' at the unique one the father consecrated and sent into the world, just because I said, 'I am the son of God'? If I don't do the things my father does, well and good; don't believe me. But if I am doing them, put aside for a moment what you hear me say about myself and just take evidence of the actions that are right before your eyes. Then perhaps things will come together for you, and you'll see that not only are we doing the same thing, we are the same - Father and Son. He is in me; I am in him." John 10:33-38 MSG

So what you are custom made to do is proof of who you are and also gives a clue of where you are from. 

Self discovery is key to preparation.

1. All the 'Haman' planted in the corridors of power in Nigeria - Federal, Senate, House of assembly, state, or local govt with an agenda against the well being of  Christians would have the tables turned against them, and they would all end up on the gallows in Jesus name. Esther 9:25

The prince of peace is actively in control of the affairs of this nation, and no harm would he permit to come upon our nation if we refuse by faith to permit it. Matt 18:18

As you step out today, be guided by the holy Spirit to your wealthy place in Jesus name.

GOAL SETTING PART 3

Setting goals is no doubt a non negotiable requirement for success. 

To make your goals effective, the following are necessary: 

#1. EVALUATE AND REFLECT

The purpose of evaluation is two fold. 

- First, it gives you an objective way to look at your accomplishment and your pursuit of the vision you have for life. 

- Secondly, it shows you where you are so you can determine where you need to go. 

Evaluation gives you a baseline to work from. 

#2. DEFINE YOUR DREAMS AND GOALS

Dreams are pictures that get developed from your desires. 

- They may live right on the surface, or they may be buried deep in your subconscious. 

- To make the most of your dream, take time to be quiet. We live in a very lousy and busy generation. 

We rush, rush and we're constantly listening to noise all around us. 

- The human heart was meant for times of quiet - to peer deep within. 

It is when we do this that our hearts are set free to soar and take flight on the wings of our dreams. 

Schedule some quiet "dream time" every week if you can

No other people

No cell phones

No laptops

Just you, you Bible, a pad, notebook, pen and your thoughts. 

Think about what really thrills you.

When you are quiet, think about those things that really get your blood moving. 

What would you love to do, either for fun or for a living?

What would you love to accomplish?

What would you try if you were guaranteed to succeed?

What big thoughts move your heart into a state of excitement and joy.

Write down all your dreams as you have them

Don't think of any as too outlandish or foolish - remember - you're dreaming. 

Let the thoughts fly within scriptural limits and take careful record. 

Now, prioritize those dreams. 

which are most important?

Which are most feasible?

Which would you love to do the most

Put them in the order in which you will actually try to attain them. 

Remember, we are always moving toward action - not just dreaming. 

#3. MAKE YOUR GOALS S.M.A.R.T

To make your goals S.M.A.R.T simply means to ensure that whatever your are setting as a goal must be 

SPECIFIC 

MEASURABLE

ATTAINABLE

REALISTIC

TIME SENSITIVE

#4. HAVE ACCOUNTABILITY

When someone knows what your goals are, they hold you accountable by asking you to give account of where you are in the process of achieving that goal. 

Accountability puts some teeth into your process. 

If a goal is set and only one person knows it, does it really have any power? Many times, no. 

A goal isn't as powerful if you don't have one or more people who can hold you accountable to it. 

The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the lord.

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the lord weighs the spirits.

Commit your works to the lord, and your thoughts shall be established. Proverbs 16:1-3

Everyone within the body of Christ in Nigeria, ignorantly fuelling the drums of war with unhealthy "prophesies" in a bid to  known shall have their mouths stopped. 

Disgruntled individuals within the body of Christ in Nigeria committed to planting fear in the hearts of people would no longer be able to perform their enterprise. 

Every known and unknown gang up against the church of Jesus Christ in Nigeria shall witness the active vengeance of God in Jesus name. Exodus 13:13-14, 2 Chronicles 20:17-22

GOAL SETTING PART 2.

Setting goals is a crucial part of preparation. Fasting and praying sharpens our spiritual sensitivity. It gives us access to the voice of the Holy  Spirit. It is a time to keep watch and hear what the Holy Spirit would say to us. I will stand upon my watch, (for 1, 3, 21, 40 days) and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. Hab 2:1

By doing this, the following are the resultant benefits: 

light breaks forth

health springs forth speedily

Your righteousness goes forth before you

You experience glory

You enjoy unhindered answers to prayers

You enjoy divine direction 

You emerge as men and women with capacity to give form to the earth. Isaiah 58:8-12

As you pray and fast, it is wisdom to also engage the machinery of planning. Setting relevant Goals is planning. 

Even though the Spirit of God moved over the waters in the beginning, God still engaged planning. How do I know this?

If God had not planned creation, fish would have come before water, plantation would have come before land, the sun, moon and stars would have been installed before the firmament, and man would have showed up before what he was designed to manage. Everything was systematically and strategically planned out. 

Men who engage strategic planning always operate under the _unforced rhythms of grace 

They do not flap their wings, they simply spread their wings and soar. 

Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselor they are established. Proverbs 15:22

Failing to plan is actually planning to fail. And to plan is actually seeking after wise counsels, which establishes your goings. In 2018, you will not invest your energy, time, resources in unproductive ventures.

🙏Prayer for the nation

Every gang up of hell and its agents against the stability of Nigeria, comes under instant judgment. 

The elements sponsoring terror in any form in this nation, under the guise of Boko haram, herds men etc face the vengeance of God. 

Everyone, group or confraternities playing politics with the destiny of Nigeria come under irreversible curses that would consume their generations like wild fire. 

Let the adversaries of this nation be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle. Psalm109:29

Receive grace to pray and prepare for the glorious destiny that lie ahead of you in Jesus name. 

It's a NEW DIMENSION for you in 2018 in Jesus name.
