CCYI 2009 Report
The year 2009 opened up on the 4th of November 2008 with a prophetic word – Advancing by the word unto great glory. The year indeed answered to this prophetic pointer. God proved himself faithful in everything.

Conclusion: The event supernaturally met the needs of young people mostly in their teenage years in the area of knowing the basic difference between a man and a woman, when to start having dates, the real meaning of dating, friendship, relationship and courtship, the significance of Valentine, how to tame sexual desires in a relationship. The question and answer session was robust and highly impactful. To God be the glory.
 First ever Board Meeting
• Theme: Repositioning for greater exploits.
• Venue: Cafeteria 2 Covenant University Canaan land Ota, Ogun State.
• Date: 8th of March 2009

• Outcomes: Approval for CCYI to be registered with corporate affairs commission, CCYI programmes should be reduced for more effectiveness, each executive should be conversant with his or her duties, and the organization should set definite goals for herself and strive to reach it. Both Prof Aize and Pastor Tola reiterated their support for the vision.

Conclusion: The event was timely as it met the needs of young people in these areas. The youths are full of talents but lack the right environmental influence that would engender successful accomplishments. The summit exposed them to how God blesses, covenant rituals like tithing, savings, kingdom service, investments, creativity etc that have what it takes to sponsor growth and development in business. Also discussed where the fundamentals of personal self improvement, budgeting, wealth component of spirituality and so on.







 Vision Celebration

• Speakers: Pastor Mrs. Grace Oyedepo, Pastor Seyi Macaulay, Mr. Segun Akinwajoye and Daniel O Jacobs (CCYI)

Conclusion: The event is an annual convocation to celebrate God’s faithfulness as it relates to the vision that established CCYI. This year’s event marked the 7th year of God’s faithfulness. This 7th year, a book titled “In pursuit of Vision” and authored by the president Daniel O Jacobs was dedicated by Pastor Mrs. Grace Oyedepo. The audience where inspired as Pastor Seyi Macaulay took them on a history lane on the advent of education and its impact on visionary exploration and its effect on the development of nations and institution. The president also gave an in-depth exposition on the dynamics of vision. Mr. Segun gate a practical testimony that validated the need to be in pursuit of a vision. Mrs. Grace Oyedepo crowned it up with the catalyst for vision which is active spirituality.





Other Events Involving the CCYI
In April, the president was invited to facilitate at a 2days youth seminar organized for the youths of Ile Oluji Kingdom in Ondo State. He went with St Increase Aghedo, the music director for the organization. The event witnessed the attendance of close to a thousand youths from both the secondary and tertiary institutions in the state. The event which is tagged Jesus festival is a yearly convocation of the sons and daughters of Ile Oluji Kingdom. In attendance at the seminar are Apostle Wole Oladiyun (Senior Pastor Christ Living Spring Apostolic Ministry), Mrs. Adun Akinyemiju (Director Dansol Group of Schools),Pastor Bunmi Akindebe( Gospel Mission Int’l USA), and a host of other dignitaries.

In Conclusion
The year 2009 has been a most eventful year for the CCYI Ministry. As the CCYI move into her eight vision year, the heaven is pregnant with pleasant surprises.
