REDEFINING THE PROPHETIC

The coming year 2012 holds a lot in stock for this generation. At the beginning of the new year, all kinds of prophesy would hit the air waves. One common denominator is negativism or doom. Every prophet would feel so free to litter the air with warnings of impending dangers. But one thing I have come to discover in my few years of hearing God is that what we voice out is what shapes what we eventually see. God saw darkness, emptiness and chaos on the earth, but spoke light. God shaped the earth with His declarations. When you speak what you see, that does not make you a prophet, rather it is declaring what you expect, even if what you see is contrary. The year 2012 holds a lot of pleasant surprises for all those who care to tune their imaginative antenna to the positive frequency.
