DAY 16 — DO RIGHT WHEN UNSEEN

The strongest test of character is what you do when nobody is watching. Joseph refused temptation because he knew that God was watching.

Do not do right merely because you fear being caught. Do right because righteousness has become part of who you are.

Your private character will eventually influence your public destiny. Be the same person in secret that you appear to be in public.

Nigeria: Father, expose hidden corruption and criminality. Raise leaders who will choose righteousness even when nobody is watching.

The Nations: We pray for Ghana, India, France, United States and Fiji. Let integrity govern public and private life.

May God strengthen your private character. Your hidden integrity will become part of your public testimony.
