The Supernatural Gives You a Voice in Unseen Realms

Many people struggle with knowing where they stand in relationships, friendships, or social circles. The Bible encourages self-respect, wisdom in relationships, and understanding one’s worth in Christ. When people do not involve or invite you, wisdom teaches that you should not force your presence. True self-worth comes from knowing your value in God, not from seeking validation from others.

1. Don’t Force Relationships – Know Your Place

• Proverbs 25:6-7 – "Put not forth thyself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men: For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen."
  → Don’t force yourself into places where you are not welcomed; let honor find you.

• Luke 14:8-10 – "When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him… But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee."
  → Know your place; those who truly value you will elevate you at the right time.

  → Not all relationships are meant to last; choose wisely whom you associate with.

Faith is a dominant force that operates in the present tense. It is now faith that is needed for now issues (Hebrews 11:1). Nothing dominates like faith that is current and active. Faith grants access to a world of unlimited possibilities! As Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27). He also declared, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23).

Faith Brings You Into the Realm of God

Faith positions you in the same operational realm as God. At the tomb of Lazarus, Jesus said, “If thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God” (John 11:39-40). With faith, nothing is irreversible! Whatever has no stand in heaven is changeable on the earth (Matthew 6:10). Faith enforces heaven’s realities in the affairs of men.

God’s Word declares:

“God cannot lie” (Titus 1:2, Hebrews 6:18).

“Blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord” (Luke 1:45).

“The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand” (Isaiah 14:24).

Wisdom: The Substance of Faith

Faith is not blind; wisdom is the "substance" that gives credibility to faith. Just as data powers technology, divine wisdom powers faith. When our belief is founded on wisdom, it transforms into an unshakable, undeniable, and irresistible faith.

Faith That Works Requires a Good Conscience

For faith to produce results, it must be upheld in a good conscience (James 1:7, 1 Timothy 1:19, 3:9). The eyes of the Lord run to and fro, seeking those whose hearts are perfect toward Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). The state of your heart matters in your walk of faith (2 Chronicles 25:2, Acts 24:16).

Faith in Christ: The Key to Victory

Jesus alone must be the absolute focus of your faith, for He alone is the terminator of sorrow (Psalm 16:4). Godliness remains profitable unto all things (1 Timothy 4:8). Faith that is void of wisdom is blind faith, but faith that is founded on wisdom is ever-winning faith!

Let your faith be active, current, and rooted in divine wisdom. This is the faith that dominates!

Education is valuable, but it does not automatically make a person wise. A person can have multiple degrees yet lack sound judgment, understanding, and wisdom. The Bible distinguishes between worldly knowledge and godly wisdom, emphasizing that true intelligence comes from God.

1. Education Alone Does Not Equal Wisdom

• Job 32:8-9 – "But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment."
  → Academic achievements do not guarantee wisdom; true understanding comes from God.

• Ecclesiastes 7:12 – "For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it."
  → Education may offer knowledge, but wisdom gives life and direction.

1. Success Comes from Fulfilling Purpose, Not Seeking Approval

• Jeremiah 1:5 – “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
  → Your success is based on God's plan for you, not people's expectations.

• Galatians 1:10 – “For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.”
  → Living to prove others wrong leads to a life of striving, but success in Christ is about fulfilling His purpose.

2. True Success Is Internal Validation, Not External Recognition

• Proverbs 16:3 – "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established."
  → Success comes from aligning your plans with God's will, not seeking human validation.

• 2 Corinthians 10:12 – "For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise."
  → Comparing yourself to others or proving them wrong is unwise; instead, measure success by your God-given purpose.

  → Your success is rooted in God’s strength, not in proving others wrong.

• Matthew 5:16 – “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
  → Success should be a testimony of God’s goodness, not a response to critics.

  → Joseph's success wasn't about proving his brothers wrong but about fulfilling God's plan for his life.

Rumors are often used as weapons by those who harbor envy or malice. The Bible warns against spreading false information and calls for wisdom in handling what we hear.

1. Rumors Are Fabricated by Haters

• Psalm 109:2-3 – "For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue. They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause."
  → Haters often spread falsehoods out of envy, malice, or resentment.

• Proverbs 6:16-19 – "These six things doth the Lord hate... a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."
  → God detests those who create lies and stir up division through falsehood.

• John 8:44 – "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."
  → The devil is the source of all lies, and those who fabricate rumors act under his influence.

  → Gossipers lack wisdom and should be avoided.

  → Many who spread rumors have nothing better to do, making gossip their occupation.

In today's world, many people prioritize relationships and personal benefits over standing for truth and righteousness. However, the Bible warns against partiality, injustice, and self-centered defense.

1. The Decline of True Justice

• Isaiah 59:14-15 – "And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment."
  → This describes a time when truth is abandoned and those who stand for righteousness are attacked.

• Micah 7:3 – "That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up."
  → Leaders and influencers often protect their own interests rather than defend what is right.

2. Defending People Over Principles

• Proverbs 24:23-24 – "These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment. He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him."
  → Favored treatment in judgment leads to widespread injustice and societal decay.

• Leviticus 19:15 – "Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour."
  → God commands fairness—justice should not be based on status, personal benefits, or relationships.

For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment...   → Favoreditism is condemned because it leads to biased decisions.

  → Naïve people take everything at face value, but those who are prudent read between the lines.

2. The Power of Perception

• 1 Samuel 16:7 – "For the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart."
  → Developing godly perception allows you to discern people’s true motives beyond their outward expressions.

• Hebrews 5:14 – "But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."
  → Discernment is sharpened by practice and spiritual maturity.

3. Avoiding Deception and Manipulation

• Matthew 10:16 – "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."
  → Jesus advised wisdom and awareness because deception is common in the world.

  → Not everyone who appears trustworthy has good intentions. Learning to read people helps avoid deception.

  → This principle extends to relationships—be intentional about understanding those around you.

• John 2:24-25 – "But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, and needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man."
  → Jesus had deep discernment of people’s true nature, so He wasn’t easily misled.

> "Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. Everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things."

— 1 Corinthians 9:24-25

Life is a race, and how you run determines the outcome. You cannot win by accident; you must run with intentionality. In this race, there are four kinds of people:

1. Actors – Those who actively engage and push forward.

2. Commentators – Those who analyze but never participate.

3. Spectators – Those who do nothing but watch.

4. Referees – Those who enforce rules but do not run themselves.

To be a champion, you must be an actor, not a spectator!

The Mark of Champions: Power to Run

The journey of destiny is powered by vision, knowledge, and spiritual empowerment.

1. Vision Powers the Race

Without vision, running becomes meaningless. A runner without direction will never reach the finish line.

> "The labor of the foolish wearies them, because they do not know how to go to the city!"

— Ecclesiastes 10:15

2. Power Determines Position

Every position in life is contended for. The enemy resists forward movement, and lack of power causes many to lose their place.

> "Rise up, set out on your journey and cross the Valley of Arnon. See, I have handed over to you Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land. Begin to take possession, and engage him in battle."

— Deuteronomy 2:24

If you do nothing, you remain a spectator. Champions contend for their place!

3. Spirituality Is the Root of Power

Power is not merely physical or intellectual; true dominion is rooted in spirituality.

> "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him."

— Acts 10:38

Jesus was anointed with power before He could do good. No power, no impact!

> "Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high."

— Luke 24:49

Power is a necessity for fulfilling destiny!

> "For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed."

— Romans 8:19

Without power, sonship remains hidden. To manifest as a child of God, you must operate in supernatural power.

How to Access Power

1. The Word of God – The Word carries power and releases authority.

"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword..." (Hebrews 4:12)

"The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." (John 6:63)

2. Prayer – A great source of power, prayer releases supernatural energy.

"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." (James 5:16)

3. Fasting – Fasting builds your spiritual capacity and releases divine power.

"This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." (Matthew 17:21)

4. Purity – A holy life is essential for sustained power.

"You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy." (Psalm 45:7)

Sin drains power. Saying no to sin is saying yes to power!

5. Fellowship – Connecting with God and other believers strengthens your spiritual life.

"Iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17)

"They go from strength to strength, every one of them appears before God in Zion." (Psalm 84:7)

Those who dwell in God’s presence grow in power and grace!

Prophetic Prayers for Power and Dominion

1. Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive fresh power to run my race with purpose and excellence! (Isaiah 40:31)

2. By the anointing of the Holy Spirit, I refuse to be a spectator in destiny. I take my place as a champion! (Romans 8:19)

3. Every opposition against my rising is subdued by the power of God! (Deuteronomy 2:24)

4. Lord, fill me with the spirit of revelation and power through Your Word! (Hebrews 4:12)

5. I receive the grace to maintain purity and access divine power! No sin will rob me of my destiny! (Psalm 45:7)

6. As I engage in prayer and fasting, let fresh fire fall upon my life! (Matthew 17:21)

7. Father, surround me with fellowship that sharpens my spirit and strengthens my calling! (Proverbs 27:17)

8. I declare that I am anointed to do good, to manifest as a son of God, and to walk in dominion! (Acts 10:38, Romans 8:19)

Final Charge

Champions are made in the crucible of power. If you desire to manifest greatness, you must pay the price for power. No power, no position. No power, no impact. No power, no dominion.

RUN WITH POWER. RUN WITH INTENTIONALITY. RUN TO WIN!

Brief Charge for Devotion

Good morning, everyone. As we commence this new semester, I want to charge us with the theme: Walking in Divine Wisdom for Excellence.

In a world filled with challenges and opportunities, excellence is not just a goal; it is a calling. 

But true excellence is not achieved by human effort alone—it is birthed through divine wisdom. 

Proverbs 4:7 reminds us, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding."

Divine wisdom is the ability to see things from God’s perspective and to act in alignment with His will. 

It is the foundation upon which excellence is built. Here are four keys to walking in divine wisdom for excellence:

1. Seek God First: 

Excellence begins with seeking God’s wisdom in all we do. James 1:5 assures us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach." As we start this semester, let us commit our plans, tasks, and goals to God in prayer, asking for His guidance.

2. Be Diligent and Intentional: 

Divine wisdom is not an excuse for laziness. Proverbs 22:29 says, "Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before unknown men." Let us approach our responsibilities with diligence, intentionality, and a commitment to doing our best for God’s glory.

3. Walk in Integrity: 

Excellence is not just about results; it’s about character. Proverbs 10:9 tells us, "Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out." Let us uphold integrity in our work, relationships, and decisions, knowing that true excellence is rooted in righteousness.

4. Cultivate Love and Mutual Understanding: Excellence thrives in an environment of love and unity.

 1 Peter 4:8 says, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." Let us show love and understanding to one another, valuing each person’s contributions and perspectives. When we work together in harmony, we reflect the heart of Christ and create a foundation for collective excellence.

5. Practice Effective Personal Leadership: Excellence also requires personal leadership—the ability to lead ourselves well. Proverbs 16:32 reminds us, "Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city." 

Let us take responsibility for our actions, manage our time wisely, and lead by example in our attitudes and work ethic. When we lead ourselves effectively, we inspire others to do the same.

As we step into this new semester, let us walk in divine wisdom, trusting God to lead us to excellence in every area of our lives.

 Remember, excellence is not perfection—it is faithfulness. Let us strive to honor God in all we do, knowing that He will crown our efforts with success.

May this semester be one of growth, impact, and divine favor as we walk in His wisdom, love one another, and lead ourselves and others effectively. Let’s go forth and excel!
