The spirit of man is eternal. It is never abated.

THE SPIRIT OF GRACE AND SUPPLICATION

Results,
answers and proofs are the signs of prevailing prayers.
Never
commend yourself in the school of prayers until you have answers or proofs to
show.
The Spirit
of grace and supplication engineers people in the school of prayer.
It empowers
people to pray.
When you
take prayer for granted, you will be grounded.
There is
nothing Satan fears on earth like prayers.
Satan fears
prayers.
When there
is a purpose for prayers, Satan introduces distractions.
Satan sponsors
“sinfulness” when you commit yourself to an active prayer life, which is why
you need the spirit of grace and supplication.
Psalm 66:18
Prayer preparation
is the best form of preparation.
Luke 4:1,
Mark 1:35, Acts 6:4, Luke 5:16, Luke 6:12, Hebrews 5:7, Matthew 26:36-44, Luke

Spirit of
grace and supplication helps in prayer by:
1. Fills us so that it can be lord over
our prayers. Acts 2:1-4
2. He withdraws you to pray. He conveys
God’s will that will engineer your prayers. Zechariah 4:6, Matthew 4:1-2
Prayer is the conduit that lets loose the power of God on the earth. The
devils real target is your prayer life.
3. It gives special access to God.
Ephesians 2:18
4. It teaches you the know-how of
prayers.
5. It empowers you to pray. It empowers
your spirit, soul and body in prayers.
The Holy
Spirit is the Alpha and Omega of prevailing prayers.
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY ANSWER COMES
1. You know by faith Matthew 11:24
2. You know through the peace of God.

3. You know via the joy of the lord. 1

4. You know through the witness or voice

WHAT IS JOY?
Joy is an essential
spiritual virtue
J – Jesus
O – Others
Y – Yourself
Joy is not
affected by circumstances
Happiness is
based on happenings while Joy is a spiritual state of excitement.
Joy is a
lubricant of life
Life is to
be enjoyed and not endured John 10:10
Happiness is
born in the mind but Joy is from the heart.

people think differently

people talk differently

Joyful

FUNDAMENTALS OF JOY
1. Joy is a commandment Philippians 4:3-4,
Habakkuk 3:18-19, 1 John 5:3
2. Joy is a choice and not a gift.

Joy is a fruit of the spirit
Happiness is temporary but joy is eternal
Happiness is everywhere but joy is scarce
Deliberately choose to be joyful
Joy is like a candle, until you light it, you cannot enjoy it. Romans 4:20-21,

IMPORTANCE OF JOY TO US AS BELIEVERS
1. Joy releases strength – spiritual,
mental and physical energy.
Nehemiah 8:10
2. The joyful you are the stronger you
become. 1 Timothy 6:12
3. You can’t fight without joy.
4. Joy is not the absence of challenges
but the reality of the presence and faithfulness of God.
HOW TO CONNECT WITH THE SPIRIT OF JOY
1. Salvation
2. Desperation is all about the
intensity of your desire. Genesis 32:26, 2 Kings 2:6, Mark 10:47, 1 Samuel 1:12
You can’t be desperate and not be focused and pray. You cannot be bitter
and be joyful. You can’t be desperate and be longing for God.

WHAT IS POWER FOR?
Power is
given to silence the enemy.
Power is
essentially to put the enemy where it belongs.
Power is the
only language the enemy respects.
Power is
given to you to come against the enemy

The Spirit
of power intoxicates its carrier. It craves for display. Ezekiel 2;2
The spoken
word is one of the medium for transference of spirit.
The devil
only respects higher power.
That we all
quote the same scriptures does not confer the same level of authority.
