DAY 7 — SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7
WALKING IN THE LIGHT OF GOD'S WORD
Old Testament Reading: Psalm 1:1–6
New Testament Reading: John 8:12
Memory Verse: John 8:12
WORDSPIRATION
A fruitful life is built upon the consistent application of truth. Psalm 1 describes the blessed person as someone who delights in God's law and meditates upon it day and night.
The image of a tree planted beside streams of water illustrates stability, nourishment, and fruitfulness. Such a tree does not depend solely on favourable weather because its roots are connected to a sustaining source.
Jesus declared Himself the light of the world. Following Him involves embracing His teachings, reflecting His character, and allowing His truth to govern our choices.
Spiritual prosperity cannot be separated from obedience. We cannot knowingly practise dishonesty, injustice, or selfishness while claiming to walk faithfully in God's light.
As the first week concludes, examine the foundation of your life. Strengthen your devotional habits, guard your integrity, and cultivate consistency. A life rooted in God's truth is better prepared to withstand adversity and produce lasting fruit.
