Divine Wisdom for Navigating Life

Praise the Lord!

We have established that Jesus is the wisdom of God, and that is where our wisdom begins.

The Bible tells us that Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. Therefore, when Christ lives in us, we carry the wisdom of God within us.

Somebody say:

“I have Jesus inside me; therefore, the wisdom of God resides inside me!”

Praise the Lord!

We are not empty vessels. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives in us, and because the Spirit of God dwells in us, we have access to the wisdom that comes from God.

That is why our prophetic declaration is:

“Creative Wisdom is my heritage!”

We need divine wisdom to navigate this world.

1. WE NEED WISDOM TO RULE AND LEAD

Look at what the Bible says in Proverbs 8:15–16:

“By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.”

Notice the repeated expression:

“By me.”

Who is speaking?

Wisdom.

Kings reign by wisdom.

Princes rule by wisdom.

Judges make decisions by wisdom.

Leaders lead by wisdom.

This means that position alone is not enough. You can occupy a position and still lack the wisdom required to function effectively in that position.

You can have authority without wisdom, but you will eventually misuse that authority.

You can have knowledge without wisdom, but knowledge alone does not tell you what to do, when to do it, how to do it, and why you should do it.

Divine wisdom gives you the ability to make the right decisions at the right time.

2. LOOK AT THE WISDOM OF SOLOMON

One of the clearest examples is Solomon.

Two women came before Solomon, both claiming the same living child. One had lost her child, and each woman claimed that the living child belonged to her.

Solomon was faced with a situation that human reasoning alone could not easily resolve.

But God gave him wisdom.

He instructed that the child should be divided, and immediately the genuine mother revealed herself because she would rather surrender the child than see him killed.

Solomon discovered the truth through wisdom.

That was not ordinary intelligence.

That was divine wisdom in operation.

Wisdom knows how to approach a difficult situation.

Wisdom knows what question to ask.

Wisdom knows what action to take.

Wisdom knows how to expose what is hidden.

And wisdom knows how to bring peace and justice into complicated situations.

3. JESUS DEMONSTRATED PERFECT WISDOM

We also see this wisdom demonstrated perfectly in the life of Jesus.

There were people who constantly tried to trap Jesus with questions.

They wanted to put Him in a difficult position.

They asked Him questions designed to create controversy, but Jesus would answer them with such wisdom that they could not trap Him.

They would come with one question, and Jesus would reveal a deeper truth.

They tried to corner Him, but divine wisdom gave Him the answer.

This is why we need divine wisdom.

Life will ask you questions that education alone cannot answer.

There will be situations where your experience will not be enough.

There will be moments when your connections will not be enough.

There will be circumstances where your money will not solve the problem.

At such moments, you need the wisdom of God.

4. THE WISDOM OF GOD IS DIFFERENT FROM THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:6–8:

“Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”

Look at this carefully.

The rulers of that generation thought they were making a wise decision when they crucified Jesus.

From their human perspective, they thought they had succeeded.

They believed they had eliminated a problem.

But they did not understand the divine plan.

Their wisdom could not comprehend God's wisdom.

The very thing they thought would destroy God's plan became part of God's plan for the salvation of humanity.

That is a powerful lesson for us.

Sometimes, what looks like a setback may become part of God's greater purpose.

Sometimes, what looks like rejection may redirect you.

Sometimes, what looks like a closed door may be protecting you from something you cannot yet see.

Sometimes, people may think they have disadvantaged you, but God can use the same situation to advance His purpose for your life.

That is why we must learn to trust God's wisdom.

5. ALL THINGS CAN WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD

Romans 8:28 says:

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Notice that Scripture does not say that all things are good.

It says that all things work together for good.

There is a difference.

The situation may not look good.

The experience may not feel good.

The treatment may not be good.

The delay may not be good.

The rejection may not be good.

But God has the ability to take different pieces of our lives—even pieces that appear disconnected or painful—and work them together according to His purpose.

That is divine wisdom.

6. WHEN YOU HAVE DONE ALL YOU KNOW TO DO

There are moments when you have prayed.

You have fasted.

You have believed God.

You have sought counsel.

You have done everything you know to do—and yet the situation appears to be moving in the opposite direction.

What do you do then?

Trust the wisdom of God.

You say:

“Father, I may not understand what You are doing, but I trust that You know what You are doing.”

That is faith.

Sometimes faith is not understanding the process.

Sometimes faith is trusting the Person who controls the process.

God has never made a mistake.

If we truly believe that God is our Father, then we must learn to trust His wisdom even when we do not understand His method.

7. “IT IS WELL”

Think about the Shunammite woman.

Her situation was devastating, yet when she was asked about the situation, she said:

“It is well.”

Physically and naturally, everything did not appear to be well.

But she understood something deeper.

Her confidence was not in what she could see.

Her confidence was in God.

Eventually, what she declared became her testimony.

It became well.

There are times when your confession of faith must be stronger than the evidence before your eyes.

You may not understand what is happening, but you can say:

“It is well.”

Not because everything looks well, but because God is still God.

8. THE WISDOM OF GOD HELPS US NAVIGATE LIFE

We need divine wisdom because life will present us with difficult situations.

You will meet people you don't understand.

You will face opportunities that require discernment.

You will encounter challenges that require creative solutions.

You will face decisions where two options may appear equally attractive.

That is when you need the wisdom of God.

Divine wisdom tells you what to do when you don't know what to do.

It gives you the ability to see beyond the immediate.

It helps you discern what others cannot discern.

It helps you respond rather than react.

It helps you know when to speak and when to remain silent.

It helps you know when to move and when to wait.

It helps you recognize opportunities.

It helps you avoid traps.

It helps you turn challenges into opportunities for God's glory.

That is why we declare:

CREATIVE WISDOM IS MY HERITAGE!

WHAT IS DIVINE WISDOM?

Now, our outline asks an important question:

What is divine wisdom?

Let us open our Bibles to Matthew 7:24–25.

Jesus said:

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”

This gives us another dimension of divine wisdom.

Divine wisdom is not merely knowing God's Word; it is knowing God's Word and applying it.

The wise man heard.

But he did not stop at hearing.

He did.

That is wisdom.

A person may have knowledge of Scripture but still make foolish decisions.

A person may quote many scriptures but fail to apply them.

Divine wisdom is the ability to take God's truth and apply it correctly to real-life situations.

That is why the wise man's house survived the storm.

The storm came.

The rain came.

The floods came.

The winds came.

But the house stood because the foundation was right.

9. WISDOM IS PROVEN BY APPLICATION

This is why we should not only pray:

“Lord, give me wisdom.”

We should also pray:

“Lord, give me the grace to apply the wisdom You give me.”

Because wisdom that is not applied cannot produce the desired result.

God may give you wisdom concerning your career.

Wisdom concerning your business.

Wisdom concerning your marriage.

Wisdom concerning your children.

Wisdom concerning your ministry.

Wisdom concerning your finances.

Wisdom concerning your relationships.

But you must have the courage to act on what God shows you.

CONCLUSION

People of God, we need wisdom.

Not merely worldly wisdom.

Not merely intellectual ability.

Not merely academic knowledge.

We need divine wisdom.

Jesus is the wisdom of God.

The Holy Spirit dwells within us.

Therefore, we have access to divine wisdom.

So when you encounter difficult situations, don't immediately panic.

Don't allow the situation to dictate your response.

Go back to God.

Ask:

“Lord, what are You showing me?”

“Lord, what should I do?”

“Lord, give me wisdom.”

And when you receive divine direction, obey it.

Because creative wisdom is your heritage.

Say it with faith:

I HAVE JESUS IN ME!

THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES IN ME!

THE WISDOM OF GOD IS AT WORK IN ME!

I RECEIVE DIVINE WISDOM!

I WALK IN DIVINE WISDOM!

I MAKE WISE DECISIONS!

I HAVE WISDOM TO NAVIGATE LIFE!

DAY 19 — FORGIVE SOMEONE

Walking in the Light by Releasing the Weight of Offence

There are wounds that people cannot see but that the heart carries for years. A harsh word, betrayal, disappointment, rejection, injustice, or something someone did intentionally can leave a deep mark within us.

But walking in the light requires us to confront what we carry in our hearts.

Joseph had every reason to hold his brothers responsible for the pain they caused him. They had betrayed him, sold him, and separated him from his family. Yet when he finally had the opportunity to retaliate, Joseph chose a different path.

He recognized that God was greater than the wrong that had been done to him.

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good…” — Genesis 50:20

Notice that Joseph did not pretend that nothing happened. He acknowledged the evil. Forgiveness does not call wrong right. It calls you free.

Forgiveness is not saying, “What you did was acceptable.”
It is saying, “What you did will not have the final authority over my life.”

Sometimes forgiveness means rebuilding a relationship. Sometimes it means maintaining healthy boundaries. And sometimes it means releasing someone from the debt you believe they owe you while choosing to keep a safe distance.

You can forgive someone without giving them permission to hurt you again.

Paul reminds us:

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32

Bitterness can quietly occupy the heart. It can make yesterday's wound control today's emotions and tomorrow's decisions. But forgiveness breaks that cycle.

A shining light does not allow darkness received from others to become darkness within itself.

Today, ask yourself:

• Who am I still carrying in my heart because of what they did?
• Have I confused forgiveness with pretending the pain never happened?
• Is bitterness influencing the way I see people?
• What would it look like to release this person into God's hands?

You may not be able to change what happened.
You may not receive the apology you deserve.
You may never understand why they did what they did.

But you can choose what you will carry forward.

Forgive. Release. Set appropriate boundaries. Heal. Move forward.

Your future is too important to remain imprisoned by yesterday's offence.

🙏 PRAYER

Lord, give me the grace to forgive those who have hurt me. Help me acknowledge the pain without allowing it to become bitterness. Give me wisdom to establish healthy boundaries where necessary, and give me strength to release vengeance into Your hands. Heal my heart and help me walk as a shining light, reflecting the forgiveness I have received through Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.

💡 WORD FOR TODAY

Forgiveness does not erase the past; it releases your future from being controlled by it.

Walk in the light. Forgive someone. Move forward.

✨ WORDSPIRATION

Walking in the Light When Nobody Is Watching

Scriptural Foundation:

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another.” — 1 John 1:7 (KJV)

Walking in the light is more than appearing righteous before people. It is choosing to live truthfully before God, knowing that nothing about our lives is hidden from Him.

Hebrews 4:13 reminds us that there is no creature hidden from God's sight. This means that the real question is not, “What do people think about me?” but “Is my life truthful before God?”

Transparency is not the same as exposing every private detail of your life to everyone. Transparency is the absence of deliberate deception. It means refusing to create a false version of yourself simply to gain acceptance, admiration, trust, or advantage.

A person can be publicly impressive but privately dishonest. You can speak about integrity while secretly compromising it. You can teach truth while concealing the truth about yourself.

But God is interested in the person behind the presentation.

David prayed:

“Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts.” — Psalm 51:6 (KJV)

Notice the expression “inward parts.” God is not only concerned about what comes out of our mouths; He is concerned about what is happening within our hearts.

The greatest danger of deception is that, after pretending for long enough, we may begin to believe our own presentation.

Transparency therefore begins with the courage to confront yourself.

Ask yourself:

• Where am I hiding because I am afraid of being exposed?
• Where have I exaggerated my abilities to impress people?
• Have I taken responsibility for my mistakes, or do I constantly blame others?
• Is there a difference between who I am privately and who I appear to be publicly?
• Am I honest about my limitations, weaknesses, and failures?
• Have I created an image that my character cannot sustain?

TRANSPARENCY BUILDS TRUST

Trust grows when words and actions agree.

When people discover that your “yes” means yes and your “no” means no, they can depend on you. When you acknowledge your mistakes instead of manipulating the narrative, people learn that they can deal with you honestly.

Jesus said:

“Let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay.” — Matthew 5:37 (KJV)

Integrity means there is no hidden agenda behind your words.

You do not need to manipulate people into believing you. A truthful life does not need an elaborate defense.

TRANSPARENCY WITH GOD

Before we can genuinely walk transparently with people, we must learn to be truthful before God.

When Adam sinned, he hid from God's presence (Genesis 3:8). Sin often produces the instinct to hide. But God's invitation is not simply, “Hide your failure better.” It is an invitation to come into the light.

1 John 1:9 gives us the pathway:

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Confession is an act of transparency before God.

You cannot heal what you continually conceal.

You cannot correct what you refuse to acknowledge.

You cannot grow beyond what you are unwilling to confront.

TRANSPARENCY IS NOT WEAKNESS

Sometimes people hide their mistakes because they think admitting them makes them look weak.

But there is strength in saying:

“I was wrong.”
“I don't know.”
“I made a mistake.”
“I need help.”
“I cannot do this alone.”

These statements do not diminish you. They demonstrate self-awareness and maturity.

Proverbs 28:13 says:

“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”

There is a difference between covering a mistake and covering a mistake with repentance and correction.

The goal of transparency is not to remain exposed in your failure. The goal is to bring what is hidden into the light so that it can be corrected, healed, and transformed.

LET YOUR TWO WORLDS BECOME ONE

Your greatest integrity is demonstrated when your private life agrees with your public confession.

Be the same person when nobody is watching.

If you preach honesty, practice honesty.

If you teach humility, practice humility.

If you speak about faith, trust God when circumstances are difficult.

If you encourage others to accept correction, be willing to receive correction yourself.

A shining life is not a life without weaknesses. It is a life without deliberate deception.

The light does not demand perfection; the light demands truth.

TODAY'S REFLECTION

Ask yourself:

“If everything about my character became visible today, would my private life support the person I present to the world?”

Don't be afraid of the light.

The light does not come merely to expose you. It comes to transform you.

When God reveals something that needs correction, don't defend it—surrender it.

When He exposes an attitude, don't hide it—deal with it.

When He reveals a weakness, don't pretend it isn't there—bring it to Him.

Walk in the light. Speak the truth. Own your mistakes. Accept your limitations. Keep your heart clean. Let your private and public life agree.

PRAYER

Father, search my heart and reveal every place where I have allowed deception, pretence, pride, or hidden compromise to take root. Give me courage to face the truth about myself without fear. Help me to walk in the light, to speak truthfully, to accept responsibility, and to live with integrity. Let my private life agree with my public confession. May my life reflect Christ not only before people, but also when nobody is watching. In Jesus' name, Amen.

DECLARATION

I choose to walk in the light.
I will not build my life on deception.
I will speak the truth in love.
I will take responsibility for my actions.
I will not pretend to be what I am not.
My private character will agree with my public confession.
I choose truth over image, integrity over applause, and obedience over appearance.
My life will shine because I choose to walk in the light.

A shining life is not obsessed with being seen. It does not manipulate attention or constantly seek validation. When your heart is right, you can do the right thing even when nobody notices.

Let your motive be pure. Let your service come from love. Let your excellence flow from purpose. And let God be the audience whose approval matters most.

You don't need to be celebrated by people when you are committed to pleasing God.

Guard your motives. God sees the heart.

By His Wounds, I Am Healed

INTRODUCTION

The theme for this month is “You Are Healed,” and today we continue with Part Two: You Are Healed.

Help me prophesy to your neighbour:

“You Are Healed!”

Say it again:

“You Are Healed!”

The Bible says, “He who is righteous, it is well with him.”

So say to someone:

“You Are Healed, in Jesus’ name!”

Amen.

Our focus today is simple:

You don't need drama; you need Rhema.

You need a revelation from the Word of God concerning your healing.

1. BY HIS WOUNDS, YOU ARE HEALED

Let's begin with 1 Peter 2:24:

“He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.”

By whose wounds are you healed?

By Jesus' wounds!

By His wounds, you are healed!

Last week, when we began this conversation about healing, we said that looking at Jesus on the cross—seeing His blood dripping down the tree—affects healing in our lives.

We picture Christ on the cross.

When we look at Christ on the cross, our hearts are also flooded with the love of God.

Why?

Because God gave Christ to us because of His love.

And when we understand that God loves us, we know that He does not abandon us in our condition.

We also said that seeing Christ on the cross reminds us that He went there instead of us.

He carried our sins.

He paid the price.

And because of what Christ accomplished, the Holy Spirit is able to bring transformation into our lives.

For those of us who are saved, we must understand our position in Christ.

Sin, sickness, and poverty cannot have the final authority over us because Christ has already paid the price.

The Scripture says:

“By His wounds, you are healed.”

2. UNDERSTANDING THE AUTHORITY OF CHRIST

Let's look at an account in Matthew 8.

A Roman officer came to Jesus because his servant was seriously sick.

Matthew 8:6 says:

“Lord, my young servant lies in bed, paralyzed and in terrible pain.”

Jesus responded:

“I will come and heal him.”

But the officer replied:

“Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed.”

What a statement of faith!

This man understood authority.

He understood that authority does not always require physical presence.

He understood that a command from someone in authority can produce a result even when that person is not physically present.

He explained:

“I am a man who takes orders and gives orders. I tell one soldier, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and another, ‘Come,’ and he comes.”

This was his basis for faith.

He understood military authority.

If a general gives an order, the soldiers don't begin to negotiate.

When the command is given:

They obey.

The Roman officer was saying, in essence:

“Jesus, You are in authority over sickness. You don't need to come to my house. Just give the order.”

And Jesus was amazed at his faith.

Matthew 8:10 says:

“I tell you the truth, I haven't seen faith like this in all Israel.”

This man was not even a Jew, yet he understood something that many people who knew the Scriptures had failed to understand.

God's principles are no respecter of persons.

They don't respect tribe.

They don't respect gender.

They don't respect social class.

Whoever understands the principle and operates in faith can experience the result.

3. WHERE ARE YOU STANDING?

There is something important about understanding your position in Christ.

I remember an experience in church where people came forward for prayer.

A particular man began manifesting. Whether he was possessed or oppressed by an evil spirit, the spirit became uncomfortable as prayers continued.

The spirit began speaking through the man to intimidate people.

He looked at one person and said:

“I know what you did last night.”

Because the person knew what he had done, he became quiet.

Then the spirit turned to another person and asked:

“Where are you standing?”

The man responded:

“I am standing on my feet.”

The spirit slapped him.

Then the spirit asked another person:

“Where are you standing?”

And the person answered:

“I'm not standing. I'm seated in Christ Jesus!”

And that was it.

Why?

Because he understood his position.

He understood his authority.

He knew where he was standing spiritually.

And this is what the Roman officer understood.

When you are higher than something, you don't struggle with it. You exercise authority.

You give an order.

So this morning, we are going to give orders!

Are you ready?

4. SECURE THE WORD

The Roman officer secured a word from Jesus concerning his servant.

He secured Christ's command for healing.

And Jesus said to him:

“Go back home, because you believed, it has happened.”

And the servant was healed that same hour.

So I declare over someone:

Because you believe, you are healed!

Because you believe, your hope is restored!

Because you believe, your health is restored!

Because you believe, your finances are restored!

Because you believe, your business is restored!

Because you believe, what you have lost is restored!

In the name of Jesus!

5. YOU NEED A REVELATION

What is important for you?

Get a revelation.

Proverbs says:

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And with all your getting, get understanding.”

So I am saying to somebody:

With all your getting, get a revelation for your healing!

You need to search the Scriptures.

You need to find a Word that speaks directly to your situation.

Don't just look for excitement.

Don't just look for emotion.

Don't just look for drama.

You need Rhema!

6. YOU NEED NO DRAMA; YOU NEED RHEMA

There is a story in 2 Kings 5 about Naaman.

Naaman was a great general, but he had leprosy.

He came to Elisha expecting something spectacular.

He had imagined the prophet coming out personally.

He thought:

“I thought he would come out.”

“I thought he would wave his hands.”

“I thought he would put his hands on the affected place.”

“I thought he would call on the name of his God.”

He was looking for drama.

But Elisha simply gave him an instruction:

Go and wash in the Jordan.

Naaman became angry.

Why?

Because what he received was not dramatic enough for his expectation.

He almost missed his miracle because he was looking for drama instead of revelation.

But his servant reasoned with him:

If the prophet had asked you to do something difficult, wouldn't you have done it?

Why not obey this simple instruction?

Naaman eventually obeyed.

And his healing came.

You don't need drama. You need Rhema.

Sometimes, the Word God gives you may appear simple.

But when that Word becomes revelation in your spirit, it carries power.

7. SEARCH FOR YOUR WORD

Psalm 107:20 says:

“He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.”

He sent His Word.

And the Word brought healing.

He sent His Word.

And the Word brought deliverance.

So I declare:

Deliverance is coming your way!

For someone, this week, you are saved from death!

For a family, this week, you are saved from death!

For a business owner, this week, your business is saved from death!

And for someone in business:

You are saved from a scam!

Nobody will scam you successfully!

In the name of Jesus!

Your responsibility is to search and meditate on the Word of God until your Word is delivered.

To search means to go looking.

You go looking for something.

You keep looking until you find it.

In the same way, search the Scriptures for your Word.

Find it.

Meditate on it.

Speak it.

Believe it.

8. THE WORD BRINGS LIFE AND HEALING

Proverbs 4:20–22 says:

“My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don't lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart. For they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.”

Did you hear that?

They bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body!

You have to search for the Word.

Because:

There is life in the Word!

There is healing in the Word!

There is strength in the Word!

There is hope in the Word!

There is direction in the Word!

9. JESUS FOUND HIS DESTINY IN THE WORD

Even Jesus understood the importance of revelation.

Although He Himself was the Word that became flesh, He still located His assignment in Scripture.

In Luke 4, Jesus went into the synagogue.

The scroll of Isaiah was handed to Him.

He opened it and found the place where it was written:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free.”

Jesus found His assignment in the Word.

He located His destiny in Scripture.

You too must find your Word.

Find the Word that speaks to your situation.

Find the promise.

Find the revelation.

And when you find it, hold on to it.

10. WHAT YOU HEAR CAN CHANGE YOUR CONDITION

I declare over someone in this service:

Captives are set free!

The oppressed are released!

Everyone oppressed by sickness and infirmity—

You are released in Jesus' name!

The hold of sickness over your family is destroyed!

If a disease has been travelling through your lineage—

That cycle is terminated in your life!

In the name of Jesus!

For someone today, you will hear something.

And what you hear will change your condition.

What you hear will terminate disease!

What you hear will neutralize curses!

What you hear will change doctors' reports!

That negative report is overturned!

In the name of Jesus!

Death is cancelled over someone!

In Jesus' name!

11. A WORD THAT RESTORES STRENGTH

Let me share something personal.

While I was a student in the university, I had a particular Bible.

That Bible was my companion.

I marked it in so many places.

Anytime I was asked to bring my Bible and I didn't have that particular Bible with me, I felt incomplete.

There were so many promises of God that I had marked.

I would read them again and again.

Years later, I was married and raising a family, and things were not running well.

I had what you might call mild depression.

I lost interest in some things.

Then I caught myself and said:

“But this is not you!”

I knew I needed to activate joy.

And I knew I couldn't activate joy by taking spirits in a bottle.

I needed the Spirit from the Word!

Hallelujah!

The Spirit from the Word!

So I picked up that Bible and began to read.

I read.

And I still didn't feel anything.

Then I said to myself:

“If you cannot find joy here, you are done for.”

So I kept reading.

I read aloud.

Over and over.

And then something happened.

The joy came back!

The Word became alive again.

The light came back on those Scriptures.

And I got my strength back.

So I pray for somebody:

You will get your strength back!

Whatever defeated you before, as you go back to the Word—

You will become victorious!

In the name of Jesus!

12. PRAY UNTIL YOU GET YOUR REVELATION

Your assignment is simple:

Pray until you get the revelation.

Stay in the Word until God drops a Word into your heart.

Stay with it until that Word becomes light.

Stay with it until that Word becomes life.

Stay with it until that Word becomes personal to you.

Because when the Word becomes revelation, faith rises.

And when faith rises, you can stand.

You can speak.

You can command.

You can believe.

You can receive.

13. SPEAK TO YOUR BODY

The Word we have been leveraging on is 1 Peter 2:24:

“He personally carried my sins in his body on the cross so that I can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds, I am healed.”

Don't just read it.

Personalize it.

Say:

“By His wounds, I am healed!”

Again:

“By His wounds, I am healed!”

One more time:

“BY HIS WOUNDS, I AM HEALED!”

Now, if there is any sickness in your body, speak to your body.

If there is any pain in your body, speak to that pain.

If there is any condition troubling you, speak to it.

Don't focus only on the condition.

Focus on the Word!

Speak the Word.

Believe the Word.

Meditate on the Word.

And let the Word become Rhema to you.

CONCLUSION

You don't need drama.

You need Rhema.

You need a Word from God that becomes alive in your heart.

A Word that gives you strength.

A Word that gives you hope.

A Word that activates your faith.

A Word that gives you direction.

A Word that brings healing.

The Bible says:

“He sent His Word and healed them.”

So search for your Word.

Meditate on your Word.

Speak your Word.

Believe your Word.

And stand in the authority that Christ has given you.

Because:

BY HIS WOUNDS, YOU ARE HEALED!

Quick question:

Can people trust your word?

When you say, “I'll do it,” do you actually do it?

When you say, “I'll be there,” do you show up?

When you say, “I'll call you,” do you call?

When you promise yourself, “I'll finish this,” do you follow through?

Because making a promise is easy.

Keeping it is where character shows up.

GOOD INTENTIONS ARE NOT ENOUGH

Let's be honest.

A lot of us have good intentions.

We say:

“I'm going to start reading.”

“I'm going to learn that skill.”

“I'm going to finish that course.”

“I'm going to start that business.”

“I'll be there for you.”

And then...

Life happens.

We get distracted.

We lose motivation.

We move on to the next thing.

But here's the problem:

Character isn't built by what you intend to do.

Character is built by what you consistently do.

Ecclesiastes 5:4 says:

“When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it.”

In other words:

If you give your word, take your word seriously.

DON'T BE ALL TALK

Gen Z, here's something worth remembering:

Consistency will take you further than excitement.

You don't need to feel motivated every day.

You need the discipline to keep going when the excitement disappears.

Anybody can start.

Not everybody finishes.

Anybody can make a promise.

Not everybody keeps it.

Anybody can say, “I'm serious.”

Your actions prove it.

Maybe you've committed to your education.

Keep going.

You've committed to learning a skill.

Keep learning.

You've committed to your family.

Show up.

You've committed to serving God.

Stay faithful.

You've committed to becoming a better version of yourself.

Don't quit every time it gets difficult.

SMALL THINGS MATTER

Jesus said in Luke 16:10:

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.”

That's powerful.

You want a bigger opportunity?

Start by being faithful with the small one.

You want people to trust you with leadership?

Keep the little commitments you already have.

You want to run a successful business?

Learn to keep your word to one customer.

You want people to respect you?

Be dependable.

Because faithfulness in small things prepares you for greater things.

Don't despise small beginnings.

And don't despise small responsibilities.

Your next level may be hiding inside today's small assignment.

STOP OVERPROMISING

Here's another lesson:

Don't promise what you cannot deliver.

You don't have to say yes to everything.

It's okay to say:

“I can't do that.”

“I won't be able to make it.”

“I need more time.”

“I made a commitment somewhere else.”

Honesty is better than making a big promise and disappearing later.

Your word should mean something.

Because every time you keep a commitment, you build trust.

And every time you casually break one, you weaken trust.

So ask yourself:

What have I committed to that I haven't followed through on?

Maybe it's a commitment to God.

Your family.

Your education.

Your work.

Your health.

Your personal growth.

Or simply a promise you made to another person.

Don't make ten new promises today.

Pick one unfinished commitment.

And take one step toward completing it.

Send the message.

Make the call.

Finish the assignment.

Show up.

Keep your word.

Do what you said you would do.

Your word is part of your reputation.

Your talent may get people's attention.

Your personality may make people like you.

Your ideas may open doors.

But your consistency determines whether people can trust you behind those doors.

So don't just be a person with big dreams.

Be a person people can depend on.

Don't just start strong.

Finish strong.

Don't despise small responsibilities.

Faithfulness in small things prepares you for greater assignments.

And don't wait until you're given a bigger opportunity to prove you're responsible.

Prove it with what you have right now.

Honor begins where deception ends.

A person who walks in honor does not need to manipulate facts, exaggerate achievements, conceal the truth, or create false impressions in order to gain acceptance, influence, money, position, or advantage.

Deception is more than an outright lie. It can be misrepresentation, deliberate concealment, half-truths, exaggeration, manipulation, false promises, or presenting ourselves as something we are not. The dishonest person may convince others for a moment, but eventually deception demands a price.

When we choose deception, we may gain an immediate advantage, but we sacrifice something far more valuable: trust.

Honor teaches us to value our name and character above temporary benefits.

You may be able to deceive a person, but you cannot deceive God. He sees not only what we say but also the motives behind what we say. Therefore, integrity requires that our words, actions, intentions, and dealings agree with one another.

A person of integrity can say:

“This is what I know.”
“This is what I don't know.”
“I made a mistake.”
“I cannot do that.”
“I gave you my word, and I will keep it.”

There is strength in such honesty.

Do not manipulate people to get what you want. Do not twist information to make yourself look better. Do not promise what you know you cannot deliver. Do not hide the truth simply because the truth may temporarily make you uncomfortable.

Truth may cost you an opportunity today, but deception can cost you your credibility tomorrow.

Honor chooses the higher road.

When everyone else is cutting corners, refuse to cut yours.
When dishonesty appears profitable, remember that character is more valuable than profit.
When telling the truth is uncomfortable, choose truth anyway.

Your reputation is built through repeated choices. Every honest decision strengthens your character. Every deceptive decision weakens it.

A shining life does not need deception to succeed.

Let your “yes” be yes. Let your “no” be no. Let your private character agree with your public confession.

Integrity is not merely about what you refuse to do when people are watching. Integrity is who you are when there is nothing to gain from being truthful except the preservation of your character before God.

Ask yourself today:

• Am I completely truthful in my dealings with people?

• Do I exaggerate information to make myself look better?

• Do I make promises I already know I may not keep?

• Do I hide important information when revealing it would cost me something?

• Can people confidently trust my word?

• Does my private life agree with the person I present publicly?

Refuse deception. Choose truth. Protect your integrity. Walk in honor.

There is probably something in your life right now that you know isn't right.

Maybe it's a relationship.

An apology you owe.

A promise you broke.

A lie you told.

Or maybe it's a situation you've been avoiding because you don't want to face the consequences.

And every time you think about it, something inside you says:

“I need to make this right.”

But you keep saying:

“Tomorrow.”

Today, Wordspiration says:

Don't just admit it. Do something about it.

MAKE SOMETHING RIGHT.

HONOR RUNS TOWARD RESTORATION

Here's today's truth:

Honor does not run from responsibility; it runs toward restoration.

Integrity is more than admitting that we were wrong.

Integrity is having the courage to do something about what our wrong has caused.

Sometimes saying “I'm sorry” is necessary.

But an apology isn't always the end of repentance.

Sometimes repentance requires restitution.

Sometimes it requires a difficult conversation.

Sometimes it means returning what you took.

Correcting what you said.

Admitting where you failed.

Or rebuilding trust that your actions damaged.

That's where honesty, truth, and integrity become practical.

WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE WRONG?

It's easy to look righteous when nobody challenges you.

But your real character is revealed when you're confronted with your own mistakes.

What will you do?

Will you defend yourself?

Shift the blame?

Hide the truth?

Pretend it didn't happen?

Or will you humble yourself and say:

“I got this wrong. What can I do to make it right?”

The Bible says in Micah 6:8:

“Act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

Notice that God doesn't simply tell us to feel right.

He tells us to act justly.

Our faith must eventually show up in our behavior.

JESUS CONNECTED FAITH WITH RESTORATION

Jesus made this even more practical.

In Matthew 5:23–24, He taught that if you're bringing your gift to God and remember that someone has something against you, you should first go and be reconciled with that person.

Think about that.

Jesus is saying:

Your relationship with God cannot be separated from how you treat people.

God cares about your worship.

But He also cares about your relationships.

He cares about the truth.

He cares about justice.

He cares about the person you hurt.

He cares about the trust you broke.

He cares about restoration.

DON'T JUST FEEL BAD — CHANGE

Gen Z, feeling guilty isn't the same thing as changing.

You can feel terrible and still repeat the same behavior.

You can say “I'm sorry” today and do exactly the same thing tomorrow.

Real repentance produces movement.

If you damaged it—

repair it.

If you broke trust—

rebuild it.

If you lied—

tell the truth.

If you took something—

return it.

If you hurt someone—

take responsibility.

If you need to have the conversation—

have it.

And if you've done everything you can to make things right and the other person still needs time—

respect their process.

You can't control their response.

But you can control your responsibility.

TODAY'S CHALLENGE

So here's your challenge.

Think of one thing you've done that needs to be made right.

Just one.

Then ask yourself:

“What is within my power to do today?”

Maybe it's a phone call.

Maybe it's a message.

Maybe it's an apology.

Maybe it's restitution.

Maybe it's telling the truth.

Maybe it's simply taking responsibility without making excuses.

Whatever it is—

do it.

Don't wait for the perfect moment.

Take the first right step.

Your character isn't revealed by how loudly you say you're a good person.

It's revealed by what you do when you discover you've done something wrong.

Don't hide it.

Don't defend it.

Don't blame everybody else.

Own it.

Fix what you can.

Restore what you can.

And trust God with what you cannot control.

Because sometimes the next level of your life isn't waiting for a new opportunity.

Sometimes it's waiting for you to finish an old responsibility.

So today—

Make the call.

Send the message.

Return what you took.

Correct what you said.

Repair what you damaged.

Make something right.

💡 DEEPER INSIGHT — INTEGRITY TAKES RESPONSIBILITY

A person walking in integrity does not ask only:

“Am I forgiven?”

They also ask:

“Is there anything I can do to repair the damage?”

Grace does not give us permission to ignore consequences. Grace gives us the courage to confront them.

When we make something right, we are not trying to buy God's forgiveness. We are responding to the grace we have already received. We are demonstrating that our repentance is genuine.

There is a difference between regret and repentance.

Regret says:
“I wish I had not done that.”

Repentance says:
“I was wrong, and where it is within my power, I will make it right.”

Integrity refuses to hide behind excuses.

If you have wronged someone, seek reconciliation.

If you have taken something that does not belong to you, return it.

If you have damaged someone's reputation through false or careless words, correct the record.

If you have broken a commitment, acknowledge it and do your best to restore trust.

If you owe someone something, honor your obligation.

And if the person you wronged is unwilling to reconcile, you can still do your part before God. You are responsible for your obedience, not for controlling another person's response.

Not every broken situation can be completely restored. Some consequences cannot simply be erased. Some relationships may not return to what they were. But integrity asks a different question:

“What is within my power to do?”

That is the pathway of honor.

🔎 HONOR CHECK

Take a quiet moment today and ask yourself:

• Is there an apology I owe someone?

• Is there something I need to return?

• Is there a false impression I need to correct?

• Is there a commitment I have neglected?

• Is there a relationship where pride is preventing reconciliation?

• Have I asked God to forgive me without taking responsibility for what I can repair?

Do not allow pride to make you comfortable with something God is asking you to correct.

Make the call. Send the message. Return what belongs to another. Tell the truth. Fulfill the commitment. Take responsibility.

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do today is simply make something right.

Nigeria:
Father, bring reconciliation to communities affected by violence, injustice, division, and insecurity. Heal wounds that have been carried for generations. Give leaders wisdom, courage, and integrity to pursue justice and peace. Let truth prevail over deception, forgiveness overcome bitterness, and righteousness influence every sphere of society.

The Nations:
We pray for Kenya, India, Germany, the United States, and Argentina. Where there is division, release reconciliation. Where there is injustice, establish righteousness. Where there is hatred, raise voices of wisdom and peace. Give families, communities, churches, institutions, and leaders the courage to acknowledge wrong, pursue truth, and choose the pathway of restoration.

What was YOUR part in it?

Listen.

Making a mistake doesn't make you a failure.

It makes you human.

And sometimes, the most powerful words you can say are:

·        “I was wrong.”

·        “I'm sorry.”

·        “I messed up.”

·        “I need to learn.”

That's not weakness.

That's maturity.

 STOP PROTECTING YOUR EGO

We're living in a world where everybody wants to look perfect.

·        Perfect pictures.

·        Perfect relationships.

·        Perfect achievements.

·        Perfect lives.

But social media doesn't show the whole story.

You don't have to pretend.

You don't have to protect an image that isn't real.

And you don't have to lie to yourself.

First John 1:9 says:

 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us.”

God isn't asking you to pretend you never failed.

He's asking you to come honestly.

·        Maybe you lied.

·        Maybe you cheated.

·        Maybe you hurt somebody.

·        Maybe you wasted an opportunity.

·        Maybe you made the wrong decision.

·        Maybe you've been blaming everybody else for something you know you contributed to. Own it.

 OWN IT. LEARN. MOVE.

But here's the good news:

·        Your mistake is not your identity.

·        You acknowledge it.

·        You apologize.

·        You learn.

·        You make the correction.

And you move forward.

Peter denied Jesus.

David made serious mistakes.

Moses made mistakes.

But their mistakes were not the end of their stories.

And yours doesn't have to be either.

Micah 7:8 says:

“Though I have fallen, I will rise.”

Say that to yourself:

“I may have fallen, but I will rise.”

·        Failed an exam?

Rise.

·        Business failed?

Learn. Rise.

·        Relationship ended badly?

Learn. Rise.

·        Made a terrible decision?

Own it. Learn from it. Rise.

·        Your mistake is an event.

It is not your identity.

 TODAY'S CHALLENGE

Before today ends, think about one mistake you've been avoiding.

Ask yourself:

“What was my part in this?”

No excuses.

No blame.

Just honesty.

·        If you need to apologize—apologize.

·        If you need to change—change.

·        If you need to learn—learn.

And if you need to start again—

START AGAIN.

·        Don't be so afraid of admitting your mistakes that you become a prisoner of them.

·        Your ego wants you to defend yourself.

·        Your growth requires you to examine yourself.

·        So don't hide the mistake.

·        Harvest the lesson.

·        Because maturity isn't about never getting it wrong.

·        Maturity is admitting it, learning from it, making it right—and rising again.
